Tanuvein
Atton as soon as you meet the Twilek in the refugee sector. If you do Nar Shada first it's almost instant. Makes his solo fight a heck of a light easier too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> YOU mean Npc's can become Jedi ???????????????????????? wtf <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Atton was the only one I was able to make into a Jedi. I thought I had influence with Handmaiden and Bao-Dur, but they dont say anything about making them into Jedi. I'm almost to the end and it seems I've missed a lot <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gotta spar with the White Headed one three or four times - at least level 16. Janson
Bao-dur's a tricky character to try and guage, because rather than being told influence: fail, if you don't have high enough influence, conversation options simply don't appear. Just try talking to him everytime you do an action that gains influence, and gradually he'll volunteer information on his own.
hawk
You know, I never tur Bao-Dur into a Jedi again. Why? 1) Since you can turn almost everyone into a Jedi you don't really need it. 2) Bao dur cannot equip any Jedi armor or robe, so you have to give him clothing if he wants to use his force powers. 3) He is much better off being a Tech specialist with so many skills to spend at every level up. 4) If you wan't to train everyone as a Jedi and wan't to equip them with a Lightsaber you have to wait for a long time! 5) Okay, if you are playing female you don't have any other Jedi guardians in your team with the Force Jump but if you see Bao dur jumping leaving it's "trails", the first time it just made me laugh. What a big mistake Obsidian has made with this. Mira, Atton and Visas are my favorite NPC's, so yes I will train Mira and Atton as Jedi's. Hmm, do I just like Jedi Sentinels? Nnnnooooooo, I didn't like Bastila in the first Kotor. Master Vandar lives!
stoffe -mkb-
Even though I have managed to convert Disciple to a Jedi numerous times, I have never been able to gain enough influence to learn everything about him (there's one line - 'do you hate the Jedi?' which leads to more backstory, but I can never trigger it.) I think there may be a bug that doesn't allow you to gain any more influence after they become a Jedi. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If it's the "what's your problem with the jedi" option that one is a bit odd. It doesn't just check the influence, but checks if you've already talked about that topic before. If you've talked about it once, you'll always get the Influence-failure response from him later. And since that particular topic is part of one of the discussions you can have with him when you first run into him in the enclave ruins, chances are you've already talked about it once. jedipodo
luke does a few weeks of training there, about the same as revan at the acadamy for the second time. luke is supposed to be a legend though bringing balance to the force. he's supposed to be the biggest news in jedi history it seems so its not hard to imagine he would learn fast. his training is also a lot harder, he has to defeat 2 sith lord by himself to become a jedi knight. and not just some nihlus and whathisname sith lords, he's got to go up against the rulers of the empire. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not sure that someone else didn't already say this, but Anakin is really the one to bring balance. He kills the last of the Sith Lords, thereby killing the Sith, and at the same time, making them stronger. That is where the Sith'ari assumption comes from. Most people say that Chosen One and Sith'ari are one and the same. I don't know, because the Sith'ari could be the big deal behind KOTOR I II and III, but once again, I don't know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe the Sith'ari and the Chosen Once are one and the same person (alias Anakin Skywalker), but then there cannot exist *two* sides of the Force. Or are these two prophecies considered a conspiracy of a single Force planing a clean sweep? "Jedi poodoo!" - some displeased Dug S.L.J. said he has already filmed his death scene and was visibly happy that he

Darth Jebus
I know I'm probably the lone voice here with this one, but I have never been able to convert Handmaiden even with a high influence and learning all of the sparring leves with her. And that's after taking her everywhere with me and (this might be a glitch) doing things that make her comment on how brave or noble she thinks I am for doing these things. I would get LS points but no Influence points with her. And the funny thing is, after my last duel with her, I have enough Influence for her to make her question her oath to Atris and think about if she wants to train or not. But it's always, "I have to thing about this." And it's never brought up again. I've tried to ask her onboard the Hawk and running around everywhere. But I get no love. I will say, though, there was one thing I noticed that I did that Handmaiden wasn't happy about. On Nar Shaddaa when I was talking to that bounty hunter that was explaining to me the bounty hunter truce, and who the big-wigs were on the moon, he started telling me about the two beautiful twins that were hunting me. Being the big, male dummy that I am I chose "Two beautiful Twi'leks hunting me? What could be bad about that?" Cut to Handmaiden glaring at me for like 5 seconds. I was all, uh-oh, she didn't like that at all. Crap. But I didn't lose any Influence with her so I don't know what gives. I think it's all about having the right party members with you in the right situations, and choosing the right dialogue options to gain the right amount of Influence to convert a particular character. But it's hard to know all of that sometimes. I guess that was OEs way of making the game have a high replayability factor.
eewallace
You know, I never tur Bao-Dur into a Jedi again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really? Bao-Dur is about my favorite jedi--at least for a light-side game. Yeah, he's a fine technician, but they get so few hit points there are not too many places where you want to use him. The trick to making him a great jedi is to convert him ASAP (I didn't level him up at all as a tech specialist) then keep in mind while getting him feats and powers that he's going to be a great unarmed specialist who wears armor (can't get heavy armor--just medium). So he heals, casts energy resistance, and hits people really hard! Moreover, he's smart enough that you can put plenty of points into developing his tech skills even after he's a guardian. All in all, he's fantastic!

Darth Ni
How do we turn Mira into a jedi?
Janson
To turn Mira into a Jedi, first gain some influence with her, or have high enough awareness so that you can argue with her (you end on a sour note, but the next time you talk to her you can apologise to her and this gets you almost all the influence you need). Then tell her that you'll show her what it's like to 'listen' to Nar Shaddaa. When you have enough influence that she says she'd like that, go to Nar Shaddaa and walk around the area where Kreia teaches you to listen to Nar Shaddaa. Stop and you should be prompted into a dialogue which enables you to turn Mira into a Jedi.
