I've read in places its something around 45 hours long, is this true? How long did you guys take to finish it (if you have finished it)

So far I have beaten Peragus, Telos, Korriban, Dxun, Onderon #1, Dantooine, and Onderon #2. I have been playing for 20 hours.

That's a pretty fast pace.

I'm only playing it on normal. It is super easy.

Took me 55 hours for my first round.

cool, 55, I cant wait, I love long games to spend ages on......

It depends really. The optional sidequests make the game longer. Ignoring them makes the game considerably shorter.

I think I'm about 23 or so hours in, and I've finishes Peragus, Telos, Nar Shadda and Dxun.

Is it just me, or do some people miss the really long RPGs like Fallout 2, Baldurs Gate and such (or maybe I'm just slow)? To be honest I was kinda disappointed with the length of KotOR 1...

My first time through the game took 60 hours or so, but that's mostly because I went to eat and do other stuff while leaving the game turned on for hours, so as I did that a lot of times the hours increased.

 

But if you want a long playthrough, do sidequests and all that.

I never finished the game, my friend did it in 31 hours ending up as Sentinel 15th/Sith Lord 10th IIRC.

Ummm, My char was ended at 15 con/10 sith lord...... finished the game exactly 22 hours and 12 minutes. I did a considerable amount of side quests. Got my lightsaber once I hit DANT (was my first planet). I thought the beginning of the game was kind of slow, but it starts to get a little bit better.

KOTOR 1, 35 hours 16 Minutes, beat it dark side, started light file, sold it. (regrets it)

 

Anyway, my friend didnt realise you could have more than yourself in your party, and beat taris with just himself fighting. thats pretty stoopid.
