Baneblade Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Is it just me or is this topic a bit redundant.... I mean who uses 2e rule set anymore ? "If at first you don't succeed... So much for skydiving." - Henry Youngman.
Baneblade Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 How dare you use logic and make sense :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't mean to... "If at first you don't succeed... So much for skydiving." - Henry Youngman.
Llyranor Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 You're all banned, spammers. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
mkreku Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 I still use 2E D&D.. I never quite liked anything above that. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Dalmir "The Dark" Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Ever since 2nd Edition was released my D&D campaign has been a hybrid of all of the rules that I find add the most realism to the game (roleplaying-wise, not combat-wise). Rules are made to be guidelines and need to be broken sometimes for the game to work right. This is one of the drawbacks of CRPGs - a computer cannot be accurately programmed to know when to break the rules or fudge a die roll.
Volourn Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Yet, you continue to buy and play D&D games. There is no logic there. If something would make me cry - and, they're not tears of joy - I stay away. Period. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
EnderAndrew Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 I never get to play as a player since I'm always being begged to run games for other people. Someone offered to run a D&D game for me. I conceeded.
Volourn Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Eh. I ws referring to your purchase of PC D&D games not your pnp habits... " DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
EnderAndrew Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 There are only so many CRPGS. Beggars can't be choosers. I didn't buy IWD2. I didn't buy BG2. I didn't buy POR2. I don't buy every D&D RPG.
Volourn Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 I never said you did... <_< And, obviously you chose your purchases so you coulda avoided the others. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Darque Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Beggars can't be choosers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is the sad truth of the matter. If there were more options, I doubt the DnD games would have done so well as they did. (PC in this instance, not PnP)
