Darth_Taros Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 Whyyyy the version for X-BOX gone gold earlier, than on PC, Fan's of KOTOR play this game only on PC in Russia, we are wait!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well done my friend I agree with him we(russian and ukrainian gamers) are choice only PC
EnderAndrew Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Sadly, I probably won't be able to pick up this game until after Christmas because it's hard for me to justify spending money on myself in December. Not to mention I have my XBox disassembled at the moment.

EnderAndrew Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 First off, I don't think that's the case. Obsidian said their date to have the game completed was the same even if the release date changed or didn't change. Obsidian was shooting for a Feb release date simulataneously on PC and XBox. I think LucasArts wanted the XBox version out before Christmas.
Hydrogen Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 looking at the shelves, I think that Lucas and MS wanted it out for a christmas release, because there just aren't many new games right now.

I don't really care about the PC. What made them postpone the premiere in Europe?
EnderAndrew Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 New games out right now? Let's see. Half Life 2 Halo 2 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Metal Gear Solid 3 World of Warcraft The Nintendo DS and a bunch of titles for it Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Ghost Recon 2 Need for Speed Underground 2 The Battle for Middle Earth Vampire: Bloodlines Pirates! Call of Duty: Finest Hour Baten Kaitos March Madness 2005 Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone Kingdom Hearts: Chaim of Memories Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls The Urbz: Sims in the City Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Mario Party 6 Goldeneye: Rouge Agent Viewtiful Joe 2 Yep. There are NO new games out right now. Seriously, who wants to compete with Halo 2, Half-Life 2, GTA:SA, MGS3, and the like at the very same time? Apparently, Lucas Arts does.
DSLuke Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 So, has the PC version gone gold?? And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
jaguars4ever Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 So, has the PC version gone gold?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's gone fools gold. "
mEtaLL1x Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Whyyyy the version for X-BOX gone gold earlier, than on PC, Fan's of KOTOR play this game only on PC in Russia, we are wait!!! I agree, comrades! Xbox is practically nonexistant in CIS.

It's so much easier to do this with an X Box controller. Only thing the PC versions are good for are getting the music and screenshots.

Each has its benefits, but I'd hate to have been playing BG2 on a console. Or Counter-strike for that matter, which is possible, is it not? In the end it is really just what a given gamer is used to. PC games are prettier though.

Sorwen Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 If they are still going to meet the release date of the 12th that the stores keep saying they would have it in by then I would hope so.
