December 12, 200421 yr Sadly, I probably won't be able to pick up this game until after Christmas because it's hard for me to justify spending money on myself in December. Not to mention I have my XBox disassembled at the moment.

December 13, 200421 yr First off, I don't think that's the case. Obsidian said their date to have the game completed was the same even if the release date changed or didn't change. Obsidian was shooting for a Feb release date simulataneously on PC and XBox. I think LucasArts wanted the XBox version out before Christmas.

There are NO new games out right now. Seriously, who wants to compete with Halo 2, Half-Life 2, GTA:SA, MGS3, and the like at the very same time? Apparently, Lucas Arts does.

It's so much easier to do this with an X Box controller. Only thing the PC versions are good for are getting the music and screenshots.

Only thing the PC versions are good for are getting the music and screenshots. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Conversly PC gamers tend to find the idea of restriction to the few keys available on a console controller rather limiting. Each has its benefits, but I'd hate to have been playing BG2 on a console. Or Counter-strike for that matter, which is possible, is it not? In the end it is really just what a given gamer is used to. PC games are prettier though.
