The Guildmaster Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 This weekend I added support for changing languages to French, German or Spanish for most board text. If you'd like to change to one of these languages, scroll down to the bottom of any forum web page, and there is a listbox in the lower left corner that says "English". You can open this box up to select another language. Please let us know if you have any problems. Thanks, TG
The Guildmaster Posted October 31, 2004 Author Posted October 31, 2004 Maybe not, but it was easy to put in, so let's hope so.
Hydrogen Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 I'm sure that people will use it, as I see this kind of a function requested from time to time.
Darque Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Will it translate posts, like some web based translators I've seen online?
Gorth Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Just imagine the sheer number of "All your base are belong to us" posts Translation software is mostly for the entertainment value... “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
GhostofAnakin Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Just imagine the sheer number of "All your base are belong to us" posts Translation software is mostly for the entertainment value... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But it would have been a fun novelty to have. " "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
newc0253 Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 you've got english there, but those other languages - german, french - are mostly regional dialects (except for spanish). where are the other major world languages? mandarin? arabic? wolof? dumber than a bag of hammers
