The Victory Class Star Destroyer

Those familiar with EU may know about this ship. For those that don't, here is a link to info on the ship.

 

I do think it will be seen in Ep3. It was the Republics main class of Destroyer just before the Empire had risen.

They just liike like ordinary vanilla Star Destroyers with bits stuck on the side. Where are those ships from? A PC game?

They appeared in the game TIE FIGHTER (around 1994), one of the greatest Flight Simulator games of all time. Don't know if they were on X-WING too, never bothered to check that game.

 

These wedge-shaped transports we see at the end of AoTC seem to be the predecessors of the VSD as far as the SW timeline is concerned, so I guess with the Empire forming and all we should see them in RotS.

This I am not so sure about. I do not know much about the Z-95. Possible, but I have no idea.

The Z-95 is just a cr@p fighter for smugglers and low-budget mercenaries anyway, why bother with it... It was created by Incom just before the production of the X-Wing, which proved to be far superior.

If you look at it, it basically IS an X-Wing minus the second set of foils/turbolasers/engines.

Too bad the picture is from behind, but the lore says comissioned at the end of the clone wars by the republic. So, yes, they might appear in Ep3.
