This thread cracks me up.  :D

Me too.

Anyway, I read some guys saying I love her for her personality and stuff, what are you feminists? I mean first and foremost I am a guy and as much as it pains me to admit it, if the girl is hot, and has an idiotic personality, I will overlook the personality, if she is hot and has a cool personality I will marry her, if she is ugly and has a great personality she will be my friend. ;) But remember hottness is determined by the eye of the beholder.

About CG characters, lets face it they were DESIGNED to be hot PERIOD. There is no way avoiding it, the will look hot to the mayotiry of the population, there is no sin in admitting that (although seeing them naked in playboy is another matter entirely, which has many different views and I will not get in that now.) And BTW, Bastila was a grat character, I really liked how they handled her personality but her DS persona was a bit pushed, to me it didn't feel too natural, for her.

About Playboy beign for only old lonely guys, please, Guys with girlfriends, hot girlfrineds have playboy and porn, as so do many other guys, I mean men are DESIGNED to look for sex everywhere, thats the way we are and I consider it much healthy to look at playboy than to go shagging every single girl that I see.

Just my two cents.

Geez! So you guys actually think it's better to "love" a COMPUTER CHARACTER because of her personality than her looks?! It's still just a fiction of imagination! It doesn't matter if you look at the boobs of a computer game model, I promise you "she" won't mind. And you really don't have to tell "her" you like her intellect more than her body :)

In real life it might be true, but to come to this thread and look down on people who doesn't appreciate "the complexity of her personality" is just insane.

Anyhow, I'll be getting that Playboy issue because it's computer related and a novelty. First time and all that. I don't think anyone in their right mind would even consider jacking off to a pile of pixels.

Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

Erm...I was talking about REAL women. I have no problem with lusting after a computer character's boobs. ;) I lust after pr0n and other media....but in a real relationship, I need something more substantial.

P.S. The complexity of Bratstila's personality was Jack $hit. It had to be so because of all of the different outcomes in a game like KotOR. For real depth of personality, you need a more set story. Which is why, IMO, the best female heroine in a video game was Jade, in Beyond Good & Evil. ;)

Ladies and gentlemen

As firestarter of this thread I'm here to face judgement

In my defense

I started this topic for 2 reasons:

1- I'm tired of waiting for an actual update on this game, this is supposed to be o a forum to discuss KOTOR II so we need data to discuss about, right?

(aparently LA doesn't think so)

2- This wasn't a subtel way of adressing the mather but I think that an RPG should be like a good movie: we get a story unfold before us (from beginnig to end), with caracters we grow to care about. Relations between the caracters are a "must be done just right" item in them.

I found myself caring for Han Solo and Leia in Episode IV and was moved by the events in Empire Strikes Back.

Caring (within the realms of sanity) for ficticional caracters played for real actors is that diferent from caring for game caracters you are investing in as a player??

Games like movies are made by real people for real people not as a alternative to reality but as a mean to take a break from it for a while.

Romance should be a option in any RPG for the sake of making the experience richer.

If you just want to kill everything that comes your way go play Doom 3 and remember never to try doing that with real people.
