Monday at 06:53 PM3 days Im sure most of you were also wondering; "could a viking longboat really hold 27 people" and the answer is yes:"A typical Viking longboat held between 40 and 60 people. Smaller vessels were manned by a crew of about 25 to 30, while exceptional royal warships (like the legendary Long Serpent) could accommodate 70 to 80 individuals."

I assume they were sometimes at sea for days so what about using the toilet? You have to try to ignore the politics and just see it as a grand sports event. It still is the worlds most popular sports event despite FIFA and how they run things "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. 8 hours ago8 hr I enjoyed the opening ceremony, the pageantry was well done even if I didnt understand any of the singing I am looking forward to the ceremonies in the US and Canada today. And the stadium was packed. Not sure how realistic the whole " empty stadiums " concern is going to be. But this was the first game in a hosting country so you would expect it to be fullI didnt think SA would win, we ranked 60th and Mexico is 15th and they had home ground advantage and they booed SA at every opportunity ...is that normal now in home grounds? But the game was worst than what I expected because of the 2 red cards. I also am not expecting SA to get out the first group but I will still support them and the overall WC as an event ⚽ "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.
