Yeah a few things I wish would come to grounded:

1. Carnivorous plants that we can grow. Venus fly traps and sundews are rather small plants, so I think scale-wise, the flytraps can easily eat a tiny kid or a small insect. Sticky sundews would prove a great trap, too, slowly wrapping those tentacles on anything that touches it. Pitcherplants would sound boring, except maybe as part of the biome where we can get them plants.

2. Map interface: zipline LINES. just so we know where our lines lead to and through. 

3. if inventory space is not changing anytime soon, a handcarried duffle bag would be nice. or a simple cart.

4. More INSECT RIVALRY. Ladybugs chase weevils. bombardiers fight orbweavers. wolf spiders chase anything down. I feel this is missing on the new insects. A pillbug charging a roll on a stampeding black rhino beetle would look so epic. ladybug larvae jumping up to snap at an aphid or a grub would give a mini-surprise. The antlion's pit having a quicksand effect (like in real life, pulling any victims down into the center), then jumping out and grabbing prey and pulling them underground.. whether it be ants or a wolf spider or a 4-eyed kid with a mexican sombrero. AND IMAGINE AN ANT ARMY RAIDING THE TERMITE COLONY! That'll bring back memories of an old animation about insects.

5. Scarab pet, becuse why not?

I'd like to emphasize 1 and 4. hope some people find it nice.

The sundews and pitcher plants would be great especially if you could put a rope to climb down for bug goo. The Venus fly trap is gonna be a potential bad idea depending upon implemention. Venus fly traps grow to a size typically you are to small to being the menu. The stinkbugs and lady's are on the menu. So if you were to see them implemented I see it as you aggro the mob unto the plant then smack the sense barb/hair. This would close the plant around the bug allowing you to kill and harvest the trapped mob. Otherwise you are to small and the plant will open back up if you are trapped.

 

As far as bugs go the wolfspider should be leaving piles of dead bugs in it's path. The lady bug should stop and reflex bleed if the wolfspider is in the area (ladybug blood is toxic and bitter so bleeding is a defense) 

The orb weavers should build bigger webs and should be more of a threat with them dropping down when triggered 

If you see light at the end of the tunnel get out of the road!

It is necessary to make sure that there are not many parts left after the battle. Otherwise, their farming will become too easy.

As the bombs decrease grass yield I think plants should have fewer drops as you got to leave the plant it's meal
