I've been playing in co-op recently I made lvl 2 / insect hammer and started banging mint but I went on and on until the hammer broke but mint didn't break....are you guys fixing the game or bugging it more ???

Were you inside the container or outside?

You can only collect some underneath the container there is a way to get inside don't want to spoil and its not a glitch.

The hit-box for the mint and container is ... bugged and challenging. 

The sound will change when you actually hit the mint.    Try jumping and squat-walking into the container as far as you can then rotate and smack the mint.

I did the same thing until I realized I was hitting the mint-container and not the mint for 5 minutes.

 

the mint opening is small. it is difficult to tell if your 'close enough' to hit the first mint.  Every swing should have a result though - so if you swing and get nothing, your not close enough/your hitting the plastic instead.  Wiggle around a bit and try again.

 

Once you get the first mint gone,  you will have an easier time.

I had this problem yesterday, my friend and I were trying to harvest it and he couldn't get it to break. I tried and at first got the same result until I crouched, it seems that perhaps the container hitbox may be a bit lower than you visually can see.

I just wish the mints would respawn...
