xzar_monty Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Bascially what it says in the title. I'm pretty sure I've seen at least a reference to all other companions from PoE, but not these four. This is just out of interest, I'm not implying there should be refences to them in the game.
xzar_monty Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Judging by the lack of replies, I suppose the answer is no.
Night Stalker Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Grieving who? Never heard of her. But no, I don't hear of any of those in Deadfire.
daven Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Is Zahua that orc woman with the axes from White March? She's in a pub somewhere I think. Barely says anything to you. nowt
xzar_monty Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Nope, that's Maneha. And yes, she's in a pub somewhere. Zahua is the monk from White March.
Enoch Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Zahua is incorporated as a subclass. Hiravias is referred to indirectly by Aloth, in conversation with Serafen. Something like "You're not the first ill-mannered Orlan to suggest [sexystuff involving Iselmyr]." 3
Wormerine Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 There is pretty direct mention of Hiravias in one of the books in Forgotten Sanctum DLC. As everything in this DLC the accuracy of the information is questionable: https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Notes_on_a_Vanished_Orlan 2 1
xzar_monty Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Wow! Very good, thank you. I found the boreal dwarves on Deadfire, but Sagani was not referred to. Neither has there been any mention of the Grieving Mother.

Neither has there been any mention of the Grieving Mother. There is a trible of boreal dwarves, but we don't visit Naasitaq. Both Sagani and Grieving Mother had rather contained personal stories in PoE1, moreover all but Watcher perceived Grieving Mother as a random peasant woman. On some level it would be nice to gave something related to Sagani, as she was one of my favourite companions in PoE1, but at the same time it fits for them to not be further involved in those Deadfire shaping events. 1

I think that is definitely Hiravias yeah - I don't totally remember all the lore? “How do you 'accidentally' kill a nobleman in his own mansion?" "With a knife in the chest. Or, rather, a pair of knives in the chest...” The Final Empire, Mistborn Trilogy
DozingDragon Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 You may also encounter a book that references Zahua depending on your choices during The White March. Spoiler https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Legacy_of_the_Tacan 1 1
