GhostofAnakin Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Chances are any KOTOR3 and beyond won't be in the works (or atleast completed) for another couple of years or so. That's gonna be a long wait for me once I've gotten and played through TSL a few times. "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
darthruler112 Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Time to get out the whip.............. You could just have it be in a different time, like clone wars, or the time of the new "republic", with everyone being a storm trooper   or maybe episode three, or focus on the genohadrian (sp). I WILL make it come out
KOTORFanactic Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 I beleive that there will be a KOTOR3, but i doubt it will be in the trilogy era or the prequel era. It will most likely be in the era we r familiar with, 4000 years before the empire. Since KOTOR1 and 2 r in this era, it makes sense to make the third during this eraa to complete a trilogy.
starwarskid15_19 Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 I would say it is. The main reason why i say this is because the starwars thing seems to hav a history of trilogies. For example: Episodes 4, 5, 6 Episodes 1, 2 ,3 and in computer games to. For example with kyle katarn in: Dark Forces Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast (ive missed mysteries of the sith, expansion to dark forces 2 because u play kyle for only the first 4 levels in mysteries, then u switch to mara jade). There will be a KOTOR3. How the story will be, the gameplay, the game itself etc, will be i dont know. I will leave that to the writers and developers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> u forgot jedi knight: jedi academy. i know u dont play as katarn but technically its a part of the series of games. the force is what gives a jedi his power. its an energy field created by all living things. it surrounds us and penetrates us. it binds the galaxy together
KOTORFanactic Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 U made a mistake starwarskid. Its in jedi academy u dont play as kyle. Yes it is technically part of the series, but for the kyle trilogy, I focused on the games where u play as kyle.
lowiej Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 ther should be kotor 3,4,5,6 there are six films so why not six games
Exar Dulo Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 KotOR 3 is absolutely possible! If you remember, KotOR2 was anounced before the official release of KotOR1.... Then KotOR1 became game of the year. Now that awaits KotOR2. I`m sure that we`ll play KotOR 3 after 1 year.

Ever Faith Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 I haven't seen anybody mention it but a new force power could be Force Pull, force control where you can control somebody in another room. Just to add to the already short list of force powers they could have in third game. Evolutionary Development
Iamcool Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Why do they need all new feats, powers, etc. for a third game? I'd play the game if it still had the same stuff from KOTOR 1, as long as it had new story line, planets, characters, etc. Often, trying to shove more eye candy and content into a game can do more harm than good. You all love KOTOR 1 the way it is, you wouldn't buy a few sequals if they didn't add much as far as new powers and such? Well, I certainly would.
Iamcool Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Now , I"m not saying it should be the same exact game, just with different people. There should be changes and improvements (with feedback from the player community), but minor changes. I hardly call running out of new ideas, powers, feats a valid excuse to not make a new sequal. Basically, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Just give it a bit of a tune up. They don't need to dazzle us with all new innovate stuff every game.
