Ælfwine Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Is there a way to remove undetected traps? What I mean by this is that the cursor will change to a trap icon even if you haven't detected it. I'm not sure if you're really supposed to see that to begin with.
msyoung Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 I have seen that and have not found a way to remove them without activating them. I take everyone else away and approach the trap with the PC with the best mechanical skill one step at a time, if he doesn't see it then only one PC is hurt.

I think, you need at least 16 perception to see all traps in the game. For hidden container it is 22. 1
Ælfwine Posted December 8, 2018 Author Posted December 8, 2018 What I've been doing is taking the character with the most HP and just running them past the trap and hoping for the best.
Ælfwine Posted December 18, 2018 Author Posted December 18, 2018 I don't know if this is the result of the latest patch or because of DLC, but as I work through Beast of Winter I've been able to disarm undetected traps. As long as I can see them on the ground I can interact with them. I'm not sure that this is working as intended.

Well, if I remember well how much HP your character has doesn't really matter in deadifre. The biggest danger of traps is that they grant you "wounds". Stack more than 3 on your character = DEAD. I don't think it is supposed to be possible to disarm traps without detecting them. You can only avoid them manually (not step on them).
