But you only need one hit: it applies a fairly long lasting debuff. If you want you can switch it off then and switch back on once the debuff wears out.

 

However, I found -25% dmg to be no problem so I almost never switched it off.

Good to know; may give them a try some time. Is the malus multiplicative like underpen or just subtracted from your additive bonuses?

If You're playing cipher Magistrates Cudgel is quite nice(+10 acc for everything) and stunt on crit(next -10 on fortitude) , there is a hat that give +5 acc to all ranged attacks spells included. Btw i've rolled transcendent and I am surprised by his performance, deflection with gipon p is ok at least, but other saves are in paladin range during combat.
