May 19, 20187 yr made a mistake aloth being a battemage. would like him to be rogue/wizard instead. don't want to restart the game. why does obsidian disallow reset of multclass when reroll?
May 19, 20187 yr So you can't be one multi for better early game and then swap to another with better late game? Else there might as well be an option to convert to Druid/Wizard when needed for them T9 spells.

There can be even an achievement: solve each quest with a different multiclass combo in a single playthrough
May 19, 20187 yr Yeah, I would really love for that option as well. I multiclassed a couple of characters but ultimately felt it didn't work quite the way I wanted it to with my party compositions. (Still LOVE my druid/ranger tho, don't regret that combo)
May 19, 20187 yr I've had to reload a few times after picking a class for a companion, and realizing their stats (and provided gear) do not support my idea. That said, reloading is usually only a minor time loss.
May 20, 20187 yr I assume there is a technical reason. Like for example, maybe there are really three of each companion, and when you pick a class/multiclass, you get one of them. Switching would mean deleting your companion and giving you a "different" one. As I recall, how companions would be classed/multiclassed was confirmed to us pretty late in development. Maybe they had to make the decision not to retrofit the reroll tool to accommodate it. This is all my theory not based on any tweets or anything whatsoever.
