[1.0.3.0530, linux, GoG] Problem: Even when proofing enchantment of armors works differently compare to proofing and other DR bonuses from items, the stacking rule sees those as in the same category. This is probably a feature. However, when suppression mechanism is applied, the decision which of the buffs is higher isn't done properly. At least in several instances this may lead to wrong suppression. Concrete examples and steps to preproduce: Used Items: -- Freeze-proofed Fine Scale Armor (Freeze-Proofed: +3 Damage Reduction (Freeze)) -- Cloak item Shroud of Mourning (Freeze-Pr

I was confused about this, and I couldn't find any information about this matter. It might not be a big thing, but I wish this could be a good tip for others. So Mail Armor has DR reduction calculation orders as below Normal : BASE 9×1=9 SLASH 9×1.5=14 CRUSH 9×0.5=4.5 Exceptional : BASE (9+4)×1=13 SLASH (9+4)×1.5=19.5 CRUSH (9+4)×0.5=6.5 Exceptional + Crush Proofed : BASE (9+4)×1=13 SLASH (9+4)×1.5=19.5 CRUSH (9+4+3)×0.5=8 Consequently, 'Proofing' enchants are always applied at first, so 'crush proofing' your mail armor might not be a good choice. shock proofing armor
Ichthyic posted a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
VERY minor bug... when I shock proof armor, it only gives a plus 2 bonus instead of plus 3. compared to if I add crush proof, which does add 3 bonus. corrode proof also gives 3, so it's not just a difference between elemental/physical. like I said, minor bug.
