To start off, i find the combat system fantastic, with emphasis on having a threat system, promoting more difficult team play at higher difficulty settings. Coming from an MMO background, and mostly experienced as a tank, i love that Grounded has implemented this mechanic! Is there a possibity of a Perk/Talent/Mastery system? It would really add a great amount of depth, replay-ability and additional customization to the game... Has anyone else wanted, or thought of something similar? -NNZ

I just recently got PoE and it seems I have come across a game breaking issue. After I have created my character, the game tells me my main quest is to Journey to the Gilded Vale and then I am free to run around. However I can't do anything other than fight two wolves that are towards the western part of the map. I looked up a couple of walkthroughs on Youtube and found that Caravan Master Odema is supposed to talk about some things and the game is supposed to progress. I have tried talking to Odema but nothing happens when I click on him and when I try talking to Calisca it puts me in battle against her. I am playing the game on patch 3.01 and through GOG. Is there something I am overlooking or is this some anomaly that has happened to me ? Edit: I have also tried the Verify/Repair game option through GOG Galaxy but to no avail.

Hey, I have this problem where no matter what I do, Kelborn won't contact me to tell me that I can return to Onderon. A extensive Google search revealed a few details as to why this is: I'm using The Restored Content Mod, which *may* be contributing to the issue and I chose to go to Onderon as my last planet. The quest "Master Of The Palace" and "Lost Jedi" both say that Master Kavar was forced to flee when we met in the Onderon Cantina, telling me to "bide my time" until he contacts me. As most people don't do Onderon first, this is usually when they do the other planets and he contacts them later on. I made a fresh save and messed around with the both of the quests using KSE (KoTOR Save Editor) in an attempt to artificially move them forward, with no luck. The quests would move forward in my Journal, but Kelborn still wouldn't contact me. He just kept saying that he'd let me know if there was "any change planet side" which would allow me to return to Onderon. I have since reverted to the save where both quests are where they were to begin with. Here are a few other forum posts which also show the problem: http://steamcommunity.com/app/208580/discussions/0/620713633846218888/ This post here suggested I use KSE: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/66151-master-kavar-wont-contact-me/ http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/31136-master-kavar-said-to-contact-me-later-when/ One guy says that he saw a walk-through where if you chose Onderon as your last planet, you just have to wait a few hours in-game for the message from Kelborn to trigger. Another guy said that wasn't true, but I'm going to give it a shot none-the-less. If anyone has ANYTHING which they think may be causing the issue, or a way to trigger the message I would be extremely thankful, I'm getting pretty desperate now. I'm coming to the end of the game and don't want all these hours to go to waste and force me to start over. Thanks in advance

"As the tide turns and the waves roll in across distant shores, the echo of drums can be heard crashing in amongst the waves. A battalion like no man has witnessed this side of the free Palatinate, draws ever nearer. The village stirs as the shrill call of a horn pierces the early morning vale, a sound no one ever wanted to hear again. It marked the end of everything we held dear, of every moment of blood and sweat to carve out but a life for ourselves. In the end, none of it mattered. That morning was the day I took up sword and shield to protect those I could and avenge all that was lost." Kia ora, My name is Tony, AKA Neralyte, I hail from Middle-earth. A place not unlike the world of Eora, told as tales to enthrall the wide-eyed and curious of heart. I have a great passion for the cRPG genre and played through no small share of Roleplay in my earlier days. While I'm not always found these days by the fire-side spinning tales and imagining worlds beyond the corporeal, I'm still extremely interested in the stories others tell and the games woven of such tales. To celebrate the release of Pillars of Eternity and the awesomeness that Obsidian has given us, I will be streaming live on Twitch with a themed broadcast devoted to PE. I think the poster says most of what I need to say about the matter, come join us and enjoy this rather auspicious return to fantasy. I hope to see you there

Purely a discussion thread, this has nothing to do with Project: Eternity as a development. First off, what is Shadowkeeper, DLTCP and NearInfinity? Different modding tools to either enhance or God-mode your game. I found it very interesting to play around with these whilst me and my friend was playing our Baldur's Gate session. I felt as I was the Dungeon Master (giving the party some disadvantages at some points, some advantages). We didn't have a Thief in our party, so I decided to Multi-Class one of my characters into a Thief (Adding our own personal Lore to it, why and how this was possible). What I am suggesting is pretty much a DM-Mode in a future installment of a Baldur's Gate-esque game. Where you don't need to edit anything outside of the game (such as Shadowkeeper or DLTCP) but something where you can edit in-game. Per example, if I were the DM, and 6 posters on this forum where players in the game, I could enhance your experience as a DM. I could call upon monsters, or direct you towards a quest, give you appropriate experience and so on and so forth. Immersing the player's into an even deeper experience. Another thing me and my friend were going to start (which we never did, Guild Wars 2 took up his time) was a session where he would play the game and I would narrate the story (Skype = Share-Screen is great for this) as well as use Shadowkeeper and DLTCP to effect his game. Is this something you would like to see in a future RPG?
