Where can I get the music and movies patches?
BattleCookiee replied to Arkan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
"Official" site -
Just look at the 4 screens if you wan't to be certain...
-
Really. :D
-
You never did, eh? How about here (quick search on a single page in this thread) among many other places?; Commandos Freelancer Republic: The Revolution GTA 2 Gabriel Knight 3 Need more? EDIT; Wait; we talk about games that you can finish from point A to End without getting stuck? If that is the case I could add in a game that even got a patch for 12+ gamestopping bugs "
-
Really. They even say so in the game (altough you should really pay attention)
-
It was a ritual to keep control of the beasts on Onderon... and when the Sith died in the tomb the animal they used on the Force Field (it has been done! = Force Field down) became crazed and attacked!
-
It isn't if a gamecompany only makes type X they can no longer make Type Y or Z! If that was the case, new gametypes would have never been created in the first place... (Oh, but you have no FPS-making experience; so you cannot make Wolfenstein! or Westwoord cannot make RTS... nobody can (since not invented). So no Dune2 for anybody!)

GeForce 7800GT will it work with KOTOR2?
BattleCookiee replied to BastilaShan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Haven't heard complaints that it doesn't. It COULD get you trouble with other games though... (Ofcourse, I base this on thinking you wan't to get a GeForce 7800, not Kotor2) -
Even more minus points for an error!
-
I don't say that patches only fix minor issues. Just saying that your statement that games are unplayable untill a patch is released is false. Even if a patch fixes 2000 gamestopping bugs it can happen quite well that you never meet a single one if they all require extreme effort and things you normally shouldn't/wouldn't do in games. And besides that you once again proved to wager an entire platform on 1 game... PATCHES README'S Bold is game stopping issue Age of Empires Expansion Pack Patch B. Balance Changes Civilizations
-
No, I don't... Tell me. Besides from Kotor2 (port) and that 1 game-stopping glitch in PS:T I have no real experience with Glitches in PC RPG's... (Haven't played Troika games mind you... but I ain't basing a market on a single Dev. company) Yup. These minor ingame glitchies these fix... Do you wan't me to Ctrl+C and Crtl+V some Patch fix lists in this thread to show you exactly what a patch does, as you do not seem to get the idea? Funny you do trust consoles then and not PC's if they error on the same front; and the errors that are not from that are permanent issues on console; but not on the PC... And who are SO extremely rare that I barely never see a patch for... ; Odd that my pathces usually fix other stuff than yours suppose to do... even if you never play PC games and I almost only play PC-games
-
HIGH chance? Loads of trumped up charges here ladies and gentleman! (not that that surprises anyone) And let me tell you that most technical faults are the result of inept use of a PC; like overheating, messed up overclocking or an inability to update drivers when needed... EDIT; Let's add virusses and spyware to the list... And if a game doesn't work for said person; it tells more about the person than the game. If he hit an awfull ingame bug it would be an entire different case ofcourse...
-
He waits two weeks to see if it is good stuff. Do YOU buy everything you don't even know you may like. Do you just grab a pre-order form and X at everything while not knowing it might be fun? Maybe the fact that most console games these days are sequels makes it allitle easier to pick them... even if it thereby lacks originality? And who ever said you need to wait 2 weeks before you can play a PC-game should play himself a PC-game who is freshly released; just to proof him/her wrong.

KotOR and Jade Empire
BattleCookiee replied to Darth_Onivega's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Ehm. Ofcourse they should change it... Originality is a important part to keep a game healthy! Just always the same story is really annoying; especially if that means you can already predict the great "plot twist"... -
Secret areas and Hk-50 mission question
BattleCookiee replied to GodOfTheNew's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The Sublevel of the Telos base is the location of the HK-Factory... I have no idea what Nar-Shaddaa hidden level you talk about; could it be beyond the 2 locked doors or the "hidden cafe" in the landing map? And the TSLRP will restore thing like the HK-Factory, and, unlike TheArchitect said, they will try to get it to you on the X-Box too (but it most likely needs a modded box) -
xbox version glitches...HELP PLEASE
BattleCookiee replied to Dracorana's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, I obviously don't play the Xbox so I would know. Makes sense, doesn't it... they never got 1.0B (lucky fellows ) -
There is your case...
-
It uses the same engine used in UT2K4. No wonder if it is released in March; it couldn't use UE3 eh (end 2006, begin 2007 stuff)... And these games will look ALOT better than Red Orchestra Anyways; currently playing: (still) Republic: The Revolution Dungeon Siege 2 Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory UT2K4 Onslaught
-
FPS skills improve most when you play online FPS like ET, UT2K4 or BF1942... Or when playing games with immense amount of enemies like Serious Sam or Painkiller (thoughest modes)

KotOR and Jade Empire

Meet BioWare and it's "perfect story" that should go in all RPG's of them... -
Not here; Which basically means I had to keep open all these funny alt accounts I wanted to nuke
-
Well... the time you can play depend on the demo's type of game too ofcourse. RTS demo's could have free-roam; easy to clock 5 hours Online FPS (BF, UT) have few maps and such, but you can replay them well over the time of a full retail game; easy to clock 5 hours Demo's you could replay infinetely without twice the same map (Majesty) could easily give +5 hours EDIT; Oh, and don't forget race-games with a few tracks and cars...
-
Missed something I think Any specific quote from the "new" guideline stating this?
-
Meh, you might be confused with "games with longer gameplay in history" because most had no story and can be replayed infinitely like sims and RTS these days (Arcade games like Pong, Tetris etc.) Ever played Prince of Persia? 1 hour to complete or Game Over. Talk about long games
