Absolutely Will. The gameplay is great, and I loved the story . The Kriea character was truely refreshing to me. But the graphics were a real down point. Every planet, especialy the rakatan planet in K1 was amazing to look at. I did first person mode to stop and stare on every map. Luckily the gameplay and story still make K2 a great if not complete game. It just could have been truely legendary.

I liked dxun's storyline. It was really ruined by the shoddy job they did building it though. The trees painted on a flat surface are so icky. They should have done something with 3d trees like Kashyk.

Thats probably true, I was crazy excited when they switched over to this new bug listing format from the old expanding progress bars for each module that were almost all at 100%. I think its been a year since then

The kotor series really makes me hate software pirates. I wish the game did better financialy and would go on forever like the command and conquer series. So many possibilities, especialy with the world. A Neverwinter nights style game in the Kotor world would be amazing, with people able to make modules and such.

I think he meant actual danger to the character. I don't think I've ever been in real danger in K2 except for a character that was poorly designed for the last 2 fights. Even on hardest mode. For me the sharks freaked me out the first time through. After seeing them pick up and insta smish that guy that got sucked up by a shark I was very cautious down there There was also a sense of awe at being underwater, then a sense of EEK when you see the ginormitude fish for the first time floating above the starmap.

Yes, I know on duncan, but I thought it was a fair comparison..deadeye duncan being first in the campaign of pazaak compared to mebla dule first in the campaign of ingame pazaak

Good to see this thread is still active :D I've been playing pure pazaak at work and I am getting really good at the pure pazaak version. I can beat deadeye duncan with 100% success in pure pazaak. Then I reinstalled Kotor 2 in anticipation of TSLRP and started playing against mebla dule in Telos.... and she was wiping the floor with me! Her luck seemed godly and mine seemed damned Is there a fairly big difference between the pure pazaak and ingame ranomizer or AI? I was quite stunned , I thought I Was getting pretty good at it too

Not really, he/she could have been an ancestor of the Antillies in the films. There is an Admiral Dodonna in KOTOR after all, she is meant to be an ancestor of General Dodonna in EP4 4000 years of ancestry is some damn good geneology work !

Antilles would need a time machine to appear in Kotor.. thousands of years off there

Try the powershot feat as well. I've never useda blaster jedi, but whenever I have to use Mira and I use that feat... it generaly 1 shots things even on the difficulty setting. It really impressed me.

I thought revan ascended somehow ? The game says he doesn't need his ship to travel in truesith space.

I think darkside is more powerful with forcepowers, and lightside is more powerful in melee. Mainly because the lightside gets that super all in 1 buff power. Watchman or weaponmaster would probably make the most of it. I'de have to go consular(or guardian)/watchman however, I really love those critical hits

Battlecookie your posts are a little disappointing. You state that they obviously say the ritual is for controlling the beasts , then comment that someone should pay enough attention. Your screenshots however, do not really support a definitive statement, only your theory. Try less self righteousness =P Though I do agree that is the most likely conclusion, but with so many holes in the kotor 2 story , I wouldn't want to state anything about the storyline definitivly.

So today I was at the bookstore.. and I see some books called expanded universe star wars books, and I see some familier names on them that I see in the Kotor games. Names Like Exar Kun I think was one. Are any of these worth reading? Could anyone reccomend any of them to me if I enjoyed the storylines in Kotor 1 and 2? Thanks! :D
