A Bethesda game nominated for innovative gameplay
Well, players voted for it, blame them.

Are these game's original voice actors and do they chew scenery this bad in the game too?
Yes, and most of them are a bit better in the game itself, IMO. The pale-elf vampire and the overtalky wizard are about the same.

Steam awards voting is up, and in the "story rich" category, there's four AAA-games, and a Chinese dating sim... I guess it has a lot of fans.

I guess the logic is that old 3D ages really badly, while the kind of partially animated comic-style is kinda accepted for smaller games these days.
...And I have to say, personally I prefer the new ones. Neither are that great though.

Don't really see WoW as pay to win even now, you can buy cosmetics which isn't really winning especially with the transmog system.
Isn't this kind of pay-to-win? https://us.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/world-of-warcraft-service-character-boost
Don't play WoW myself, but I heard there's lots of talk about that.

Dear Hello Games: try not to make too many promises this time and try not to release it 5+ years too early, k?
Also, what I've read is you "can play alone but they want to encourage multiplayer" - but they haven't made clear if it's the run past other players all the time MMO style, or "multiplayer" like NMS, where you can turn off MP mode/never have to see other players. I hope it's the latter, otherwise I might have zero interest. The early announcement trailer certainly looks nice tho. And it's a single planet/world focus this time, but still very sandbox? Dragonflight instead of ships? Edit: also, bunny people?
Steam blurb says "Carve a life together. Meet players from across the globe, build a life, explore and survive together. Construct persistent buildings and communities, or strike out alone to discover the world for others."
Sure sounds like it's the same world for everyone. Do they realize people will comb through it in a week or two?

PCG's not a fan. Although not sure what PCG is worth these days.
Sounds very close to the Kingmaker and WotR experience. Pretty much as expected.

Uh, I think they are just revealing the game in 2024. It will probably come out in 2026.
That trailer has a grand total of two still shots that might be in-engine, so there's no way of telling how ready it is. If you're an optimist, reveal next year, release 2025. If you're pessimist, reveal pushed back to 2025, release maybe 2027. Not trying to be a hater, I liked the previous DA games so I'll check this one out, but they're not being very convincing.
(Ok, I guess if you're really a pessimist you'll say it'll never come out.)

Announcements of announcements. Desperate to tell they're still working on the game.

Looks like Diablo4 is free to play on Steam until the 28th.
It's with the same limitations as the public beta was, so if you didn't play that you can give it a try.

Tried to launch Dragon Age: Inquisition. Any way I can access the game without interacting with EA App, which seems to have become less usable than it used to be?
No. Once you've logged in it doesn't pop-up on every launch though.

Didn't they already hint at a new mass effect some years ago? Probably just that.

@majestic Did D3 have an active PVP scene? For as informal/unorganized and unemphasized as it was, PVP was a pretty big and lasting part of the Diablo II online community, so the thought that D4's PVP scene is completely dead on arrival seems...less than ideal.
Don't think D3 ever got PvP.

So, reading about these buffs you have to apply during combat, it sounds like Owlcat wanted to bring all that buffing from WotR to this one too. Or is this based on some GW rulesset?
