  2. Actually, nothing did happen. It was just a few hours of CGI. But yeah, don't include anything developed about the force from the prequels.

What I mean is don't try to add some bizarre new trait where the Sith Lord draws on something else to make him/her so incredibly powerful that he/she is 'the most powerful ever' for doing so (ie Jedi Academ). I'm happy with just semi-powerful bad guys that draw on there own dark side powers. After all, I hold Palpatine in high regard, and to have them try to overshadow his power, and then have to easily defeat him...pathetic. Don't try to make the antagonist so powerful that by defeating him you become the most powerful jedi ever. It just seems to take away from the 'larger' story.
  6. Well, I may have been wrong about the hidden valley; however, the story in Jedi Academy was just horrible. Point is, don't add rediculous new things.

  8. All multiplayer games wind up loosing major points in the area of story. It's one or the other...and I'd perfer story. However, if they could include a second player in a story mode....then, O.K.
  9. NO more drawing on something else for force power (Like Star Forge)... NO Resurection of Ancient Sith (Like in 'Jedi Academy')... NO Force Septors (Again 'Jedi Academy') NO 'Hidden Valley' (Guess) etc Please do not include anything about the Force that wasn't developed in the movies.
  10. Getting back on topic, I too feel that the planet sizes were much to small. There was really no exploring to be done. (Walk forward, turn left...ahh, star map). I would hope that all the planets were at least equivalent to the size of Taris. Please Obsidian, make the levels a more realistic size. I wouldn't mind if doing that would delay the release date for a bit. Afterall, the original KOTOR was delayed over 6 months. As long as the delay implies a better game, then go for it.
  11. How long is the gameplay? How much larger are the areas as compared to the original? Which characters definately won't be making an appearance in the sequal? How are they going to resolve the question of what image we chose for Revan? (Sure early dialog options will tell the game if we ended the original as sith or jedi, but what of the details.) Will the original talent be returning to give voices to characters in the sequal? It was said that there is no singal enemy to defeat and instead we must defeat a few 'sith lords'. How many are we talking about?
  12. The pictures were taken from the demo Obsidian presented in E3. They said that demo does not have anything to do with game. In one of the videos offered up on gamespot.com, there is a lucasarts rep who clearly states that during E3 they would show (not exact quote), "Three areas. One early on in the game, one towards the middle, and one closer to the end." It may just be that these are levels in the game.
  13. Here's a question: How Long will KOTOR II be? (Much Longer???...Here's hoping )
  14. Regardless of how long it is, It still won't be long enough. What I would like to see is a developer reply to this topic. And an additional question...will we be able to travel back to other planets after the game is technically over? I really wanted to return to some planets in KOTOR after defeating Malak as either the savior or ruler of the galaxy.
  15. I'd like to see the selkath return to KOTOR 2 on one condition...the ability to slaughter them in large numbers when you convert to the dark side.
  16. The original KOTOR ran a little over 40 hours of playing time if you explored most of it. How long do you think the sequal will be? How long do you think the sequal should be?
  17. I think we can be certain that certain characters will not return. Of all the characters in KOTOR I, you have the opportunity to kill: Bastilla, Mission, Carth, Juhani, and Jolee. I doubt that any of these characters will make cameos in KOTOR 2 as it would be difficult to determine whom you killed in the first installment of the game and then add to the story of the second accordingly.
  18. Bastilla is the best character in the game.(Added depth to the game) A close second would be Jolee. (His stories were all well done) HK would come in third.(Funny, but otherwise useless)
  19. What I find interesting is that the moderators aren't getting rid of these topics or moving them to the 'irrelevant' forum section. That to me is proof enough that they may be doing KOTOR 2.

I just pray that the sequal, if indeed it is being done by obsidian as we all think and hope(yes I said 'all', I refuse to recognize those that feel otherwise), has nothing to do with episodes 1-6. I'm hoping for an original story. However, I have heard a rumor that LucasArts is planning a game that has you playing as Vadar; although, it is an unsubstantiated rumor at best. I'm expecting great things from Obsidian.
