That was a total hit and miss session of CoD there, Jags. We owned some matches, and had our asses handed to us in quite a few others.

To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing Boston and Philly slip out of contention if it meant both Buffalo and Washington could get in.

I watched Conan the Barbarian this morning. This film still holds up fairly well after all these years, although some of the special effects seem a little dated now. I'm currently making my way through Conan the Destroyer, but I'm breaking it up into sections on account that it's so damn cheesy and predictable. Although Olivia D'Abo = hawt, Grace Jones = not.

It was a good night to have Lecavalier, St.Louis, Pominville and Roy in my hockey pool, yes.

More crazy action in the league tonight. Buffalo rallying against Tampa was a hoot to see on tv. Nice to see San Jose clinch a playoff spot as well.

I may be in the minority, but I actually liked the ending to No Country For Old Men. The movie is overrated, no doubt, but I still found it to be a pretty interesting tale. I'll never look at an air hose the same way again!

IIRC, usually the NHL games are released the last week of August? Or is it September? Beats me, I'm a stoner!

Honestly, if you guys are in the hunt for 08 it'll be worth it to wait until a few months before 09 comes out. Then 08 will take a dip in price. And I was checking to see if it was cheap enough to pick up for you two yet, and the answer was a resounding 'no!'.

The top line of the Oilers was much better with Shawn Horcoff in the middle, not Jarred Stoll. Stoll has been the linemate of doom this season, although it's not for lack of effort (anymore ), he's just been as snakebit as one can be in the NHL. Last year he was concussed twice, and he still hasn't been able to get his game back to where it was. I think I was reading somewhere that he was one of the, if not the worst center in the NHL for even strength points in the 07 campaign. He still gets a fair bit of powerplay and penalty kill time, but you can tell by his three penalties tonight that he's not really at the top of his game. Tonight's three stars: 1.Dwayne Roloson 2.Dwayne Roloson 3.Dwayne Roloson with an honorable mention to mr.Clutch, Fernando Pisani!
