NHL is back
Its probably because they are a little more professional. Personally, I prefer the Score for its ticker, but I like sportsnets' programming better. 20 Cubs games this summer plus the Oilers, Hooah!! Does ESPN even give a nut about hockey. And do you get ESPN in Edmonton?

NHL is back
I hope this all these free agents are completely signed by the end of August so I can get started with my hockeypool sheet. If Ziggy Palffy resigns with LA, I think I have my bread and butter in the pool this year . And I saw on sportsnet that Jason Allison is a physical away from joining the Leafs. This season just keeps getting better. You have the new old timer team ( Florida) , an Czech team entry ( NYR) , and enough player transactions to make your head spin. Go hockey!

What TV Shows Are You Anticipating?
I just caught my first episode of 'House' tonight. Impressive.

I think the Oilers should steer clear of Allison. He hasn't fully recovered from whiplash a few seasons ago. And it looks like Kevin Lowe is missing the boat if he doesn't sign Messier. Demitra is gone, and who's going to be left for our Oilers to sign? Joe thornton? You have a better chance of growing a windmill out of your ass. Go for the Moose and let the team bust loose.

NHL is back
According to TSN, P.J. Axelsson is still a restricted free agent. You're dead on about he and Sundin. I saw a few Boston games on the teevee in 03/04, and the guy is really gifted defensively, and a faceoff ace to boot. And let Philly buy all the defensemen they want. Hatcher is a on rusty pins ( bad knees) to start with, and looking over their roster aside from Roenick there isn't really a lot going on in the front end. I'm more impressed with Chicago picking up Adrian Aucoin...

Well I'd like to kick the ball and say that hopefully Kevin Lowe had a nice phone call with Mark Messier and/or his agent this afternoon.

how many people despire malachor V
I'm thirding the point made by Mothman and GOA about the Star Forge with the interaction. The speech Canderous made was excellent. Malachor was really dissapointing, IMO. It seemed a little boring running around the volcanoes. Trayus academy was alright, but finding the rarer items on the very last level made me throw my controller down more than once. So do I despise it? I guess the answer would be partially...

NHL is back
The big Joe/Gary trade to Florida might pan out if they actually make the playoffs. Now Keenan just needs to acquire some defencemen who aren't afraid of forwards in their zone... And Adam Foote has just signed on with Columbus. I am really liking the new look Avalanche...

Half-Life
I'm not much of FPS player. At all. I hate the turret games in both KOTORs. But I really enjoyed the first Halo. The second one I was presented with at X-mas but still haven't played it that much.

NHL is back
After a noneventful draft, it looks like things are picking up today. Mighty Mike Keenan gets the George Ferguson Jr. award for 'they might be old, but they are younger than me' in signing both Niewendyck and Gary Roberts. If those two manage to play 70 games between the two of them this year I'll be suprised. But on a more positive note, the Oilers jettisoned Brad Isbister to Boston.

NHL is back
And the only Owen Nolan moment I've ever enjoyed ( I've played too much against a buddy who just loves the Sharks on NHL 2000 for the PS1 ) was when he pointed top shelf on Hasek at that all-star game a few years back.

And has Scott Gomez recovered from his broken pelvis yet? Lucky Lou has a lot of work to do (sung to the scooby doo theme song) As for Owen Nolan, I can just see Jeremy Jacobsen of Boston getting ready to roll out a 4 year 28 million dollar deal. []sarcasm[/]

New Marvel Comics RPG Announced
After rereading the opening post I think this game is leaning towards something along the lines of a team like the Avengers. Now if DC came out with a Legion of Super Heroes game in response...
