  1. I would have to say that Sundin would fetch more than a bag of hockey pucks as well, Deraldin. And although I couldn't watch tonights tilt between the Oil and the Stars tonight I am pleased with the outcome. Coming back from a two goal deficit to force the shootout and earn a point was great. You can't beat Dallas in the shootout, no question. edit: My money is on Vancouver being the busiest team at the deadline. They need help. Bad.
  2. So did anyone see A History Of Violence in the theatres? It's out on video next week and I want to know if its any good.
  3. Not to derail your fine thread Calax but I wish Eru/COF was here now. He could give you all sorts of advice . He knows about those RPG rules man. He knows!!!
  4. Are you doing this to knock down some community service hours from your record or is it just you being charitable? Either way I commend your willingness to help others.
  5. The poor Hawks. Even their GM said on the record that he made a mistake with the free agents he signed before the season started. But then again they were lit up by Dallas, who have quietly become one of the hottest teams in the west right now. PS: Hi Jags!!!
  6. Pronger plays more of a positional defense than skating around like a monkey. That's what MAB is for , Alan. " That being said, he isn't the fastest or best skater in the world, so I wasn't completely suprised when opposing players were making him look bad during the Olympics. How much wider is Olympic ice than the NHL sheets? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
  7. Rocket From The Crypt / Break It Up
  8. I really liked Walk The Line. The scene where he and his band are playing for the record producer gave me goosebumps, specifically where he was singing ' folsom Prison Blues' and the break comes up and he gives his guitar player a look like ' come up with something, anything, please!!!' then he comes up with that riff. Priceless. Hustle and Flow was the last movie I watched. Not bad at all.
  9. I'm just glad he didn't break his neck at the Olympics. And if you notice young Mr. Horcoff is currently in the top 25 in NHL scoring.
  10. Chris Pronger is my favorite Oiler today.
  11. Sorry to interfere with your little love fest, but I finished watching Grumpy Old Men. Burgess Meredith steals the show.
  12. Cujo let in 7 goals on 27 shots last night. I don't see getting him helping anybody too much.
  13. I hear you Pixies
  14. There isn't a lot new going on in the game. And it does suffer from the repetetiveness you speak of. I've fought over thirty matches and still have yet to land one of the two new punches.
  15. I wonder if there will be any big trades before the March 9th deadline. The Oil are rumored to be interested in Curtis Joseph, but I can't really see the point of spending coin on an old goalie.
  16. I spent a good chunk of my day playing Fight Night Round 3. I'm well into my pro career, have lost once, but still have yet to be offered a title bout. I guess I'll just keep knocking people out until they change their minds...
  17. It's like this whole show is screaming 'Military' right now. And I guess I understand your dissapointment.
  18. So you're going to let a writers' slip up with a minute and half to go in the episode mar an otherwise good offering? I thought this was one of the few episodes I've seen this season ( without the Locke bit) that had something going on.
  19. Do you think the others could be tracking them with technology? I totally agree with you about the Locke bit. Maybe losing his guns has left rattled.
  20. No goals till the third. Oilers score only to have the Sharks respond the next shift. Then San Jose takes the lead. Then the Oilers tie the game and score with just over a minute left for the win. Sorry Hurlshot.
  21. His whole speech from the other episode makes a lot more sense now doesn't it? But here's my question: why would that facility be completely abandoned?
  22. Shhh!!! Don't tell Meta!! I was just reading up that despite the fact that it cost 220 some odd million to make and market it still made a profit of over 110 million.
  23. Matthew Sweet / Come To California edited because I can't spell
  24. I refuse to add Waterworld to this list. The Postman maybe, but not Waterworld.
