I've been buying disks from these guys for nearly two decades. But my situation is a little different. I go in and say 'Can you order me the blah blah blah bands' latest record?' and they look at me like I'm listening to music from another galaxy. But they're loyal, so I have no qualms about forking out the extra buck or two that I would have saved buying the disk ( which I wouldn't be able to find) from Futureshop or one of the record chains. And what, Gomez is a giant? If I was a GM I wouldn't pick either of them for my team. For the kind of coin these guys want I'd pick up Brian Rolston instead. I watched a whole heck of a lot of Buffalo last season ( mostly for Rick Jeanerette and his wicked awesome commentary) and Briere was a dynamo who elevated the play of his linemates, who were for the most part J.P. Dumont and Jochen Hecht. Put those two on the wings with Gomez and he wouldn't crack 50 points. Just my opinion, but Briere>Gomez. Although Gomez is the better passer, Briere has that spark that can rally a team behind him. I don't get that watching Gomez.

According to this bad boy the humidity is going to be up in the sixties tomorrow morning when I'm getting off of work. I can't really say it gets very humid up here, and aside from a trip to Penticton about a decade ago I can't say I've been anywhere really hot and humid before. What's it like?

Well the Weather Network has been teasing us by saying there's a chance of a thundershower every night, but mother nature has failed to deliver on that count. One plus side to the heat is all the scantily clad women coming in to work. Hot girls wearing very little+ a cold department = KQD has busy eyes.

It's one degree hotter here than where Alan lives. However, my condo features no air conditioning, plus some thirty year old windows that like to keep the heat in. It's a sauna. When I hop out of the shower in the morning it's already 82 in my condo, and that's before the sun comes up. It's a good thing I'm housesitting for a friend right now and can sleep in his nice, cool basement.
