Hahahahaha!!! Good luck Detroit. You'll be praying for Manny Legace when Hasek goes down again with another groin injury. And did Buffalo sign Briere? I haven't heard anything.
  2. I used to have the OST on cassette. I have no clue what happened to it. From what I recall 'money' was the only song I really enjoyed, but I didn't give the rest of the album a fair shake, to be honest. And you're welcome. Pete Yorn - Just My Imagination ( Running Away With Me)
  3. I think I need to pop the giant blister on my arm. Will vodka do for an anticeptic? I don't have any rubbing alcohol in the house.
  4. I thought you might get a kick out of Greg Dulli doing the vocals on that one, Drabs. They hired a new girl in the floral department about a month ago, she's 23 and taken , but if she wasn't I'd be all over her. Not only is she funny and hawt, but her favorite band is...the Pixies!!! I asked her what her favorite tune of theirs is and she responded by singing the chorus to 'Caribou' Carrrriiibooooooooooooouuu. The Archers Of Loaf - Web in Front
  5. Baley, Waking The Dead is a somewhat boring, pretentious movie. But there is a scene in there I think you might really enjoy. "
  6. Ike & Tina - Proud Mary Although Ike Turner has been rightly villified over the past two decades or so, people forget he was one of the pioneers of the distorted guitar tone. Of course it was by accident when one of his amps fell off the back of a truck, but Ike needs all the little victories he can get, what with being a wife beater and all. Plus his duet with Tina for the first two minutes of the song still cracks me up to this day.
  7. I think your blood sugar is a little low, Blank.
  8. I'm trying to recall how I ended up with such a nasty burn just below my wrist. I noticed it was a little tender last night, and today at work it just started blistering up and getting quite painful. I'm thinking that I shouldn't work so close to the melon wrapping station in the back room anymore.
  9. I'm still listening to Bonnie Brae by the Twilight Singers. It's a great song.
  10. And we should care because...?
  11. Ah, sweet memories of the thunder dome, childish Moth Matthew Sweet and Sussana Hoffs - Cinnamon Girl It looks like Sweet should get some exercise. But damn Sussana Hoffs is still smoking!!
  12. How about bad taste then, foolish Moth? Ween - Push The Little Daisies
  13. Unfunny Mothie. The Lemonheads - My Drug Buddy I love my drug buddies.
  14. The Black Crowes - Jealous Again don't you think I want to? don't you think I would don't you think I'd tell you baby if I only could? am I acting crazy? or am I just too proud? am I just plain lazy am i am i am i ever jealous again
  15. Not to sound like hades, but the waiting isn't that bad. I had a four day weekend where I had to wait to find out if a tumor I had removed once was cancerous. And it backwater, Canada, getting an appointment for medical treatment is going to take at least thirty days.
  16. Is it a simple blood test?
  17. I wouldn't say I'm thirsty a lot, but I do tend to sprinkle more often than most people.
  18. So those headaches I get when I forget to eat probably aren't a good thing then?
  19. But stubborn is his second middle name right after David! I'll thank you now on his behalf, Launchie. Um,, diabetes isn't hereditary, is it?
  20. That's pretty solid (heh) advice, Bok. Although I'm about ninety percent sure if I mention your suggestion to pops he'd look at me and say "Juice boxes? Those are for ****!"
  21. Actually there is always a roll of lifesavers and a snickers bar in his truck for emergencies. I remember dad got brought home in a squad car one time because he felt a reaction coming on and pulled over of the road. Into some guys field. Who was not impressed and called 5-0. After wrestling with him (again?) the old man got his **** together enough to scream out 'I'm a diabetic!'. He wore his medical chain with a lot more frequency after that incident.
  22. I was three or four when my dad was diagnosed with the disease. At the supper table he went wiggy, ran outside and put his fist through the garage door. It took both paramedics and a couple of my uncles to hold him down. He takes his insulin shots religiously but sometimes if he doesn' eat enough or on time he totally zones out. It's not a pretty picture.
  23. I liked it as well. But I don't get the SCIFI channel either.
  24. The Count Of Monte Cristo just finished. It fit my mood a little. Now I think I'll go buy the book.
  25. Naw. That's not what you want. There! That's the answer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm thinking you should quit being so insightful, Eldar. No wait now I'm thinking you shouldn't. I think I am confused...
