I missed Jason Smith's goal The Oilers seemed pretty akward in the first, but played much better as the game wore on. The rookies made themselves be noticed in limited ice time. And don't get me started about Marty Reasoner and his line!! So now we have a two point lead in the division and are now six away from last spot? That seems a little underwhelming. And Stoll gets the first star from me tonight, hands down.

There were two things that I liked about Conklin. The first is when he was demoted to the minors he took it like a man. The second is I remember him getting in a good scrap with some other goalie on one occasion. And it's sad to see Nieuwendyk retire, but I still bear some animosity towards him from all those Dallas/Edmonton matchups. Plus, he was a Flame!!

I was getting a little worried. Every time that I would chat with a friend online during Oilers games we'd lose. I told her this, and didn't score any points in the process. I'm just glad that that streak was broken the other night against the 'Nucks. And I hope we can lay the same collective beating on Carolina that Edmonton did last night. Go Oilers!!!

I've been guilty of hacking on Brett Hull on more than one occasion, but it's nice to see his jersey being retired in St.Louis. He had some really exciting seasons there with my boy Adam Oates. And wouldn't you know it? Last week when I posted the players I was going to pick for this week in my pool, I had my mind set. Then after watching the Oilers skid for three games in a row I changed my lineup Monday morning. Gone were Smyth ( that one I can forgive), Sykora, Horcoff and Roloson. Now I'm stuck with Daniel Alfredsson for another five days.

I was going to make some snappy remark about Buck 65 being related to 50 Cent, but I see from the video I'm watching he's closer to Everlast. Buck 65 -

Yeah, it's the day after, **** the spoilers. My twisted view on last nights episode goes a little something like this. Peter is sick due to the blood loss from his tussle/fall with Syler. Claire's healing power brought him back to life, but there wasn't enough proximity/time spent together for all of his blood to regenerate. You'll notice when he's talking with Claire he isn't sick. But then at the end of the show I'd guess he passes out due to lack of blood to his mutated brain. And I think that Sylar figured out that he couldn't do anything to the glass inside the room, so he focused his TK on Eden instead. Hiro gets a little more annoying to me as each week goes by. I'm still rooting for Nathan for some strange reason, and was equally impressed by Isaac finally being able to use his power without the help of those evil, nasty, life threatening drugs. Are you sure it's only off for four weeks, Surrep?
