Game crash
I do have the output log but none of the error logs in dated folders as they were talking about. I've actually given up on playing in Windows, playing in Linux atm. Game works almost flawlessly under Linux sans some missing visuals that I've noted in another post. Various things like capes and such don't display in game or on my 3D portriats but other than that I've found the game to be exponentially better under Linux. Even to start the game and show the 3 sreens I normally crash on is 4 to 5 times faster and my Linux machine is a slower CPU, with less ram, slower hard drive and a lesser GPU.

Missing visuals in Linux / Optimisation Question-Problem
Linux / Steam things like the Obsidian Cloak are being worn by my character but they do not show in game or on the 3D portrait of my character while they do in the game on Windows. System is a i3 with Intel 3000/nVidia 540M 4gigs of ram. The game is running on the nVidia using the nVidia switcher not bumble bee. Xubuntu 14.04 with RTK 3.16. I was also curious about optimisation. I know this is tricky some times given the nature of Unity but last I noted the game was running on 4 but 5 has been released shortly after the game went gold. Will the updates be on Unity 5? I ask because the game has only ran twice for me under Windows and on my Linux laptops the game runs great (sans visual issues noted above) but for a old style isometric game my cpu and gpu rocket to over 80 degrees like I'm runing Crysis wide open! I know Pillars isn't 100% old isometric. It has lighting and mapping and some actual 3D elements but 80+degrees worth? It kinda feels like I should be able to drop to my Intel 3000 and run the game fine much less cook my junk like a greasy summer sausage.

Game crash
I't hard to post your logs when you have none. As a few others have said there are no logs i.e. what ever mechanism the game uses to detect crashes is also not functioning. I've however had other crashes. The first few times I tried to play it did the initial installing vcredist stuff then hung without so much as a Window. I'd try relaunching and Steam would say it was already running. I'd have to kill it and re-launch. It did this many times until it finally get me the 3 splash screens but that's about all it does consistently. However this problem only exists for me on Windows with my ATI card. Under Linux with my nVidia card the game runs great. Once I tossed it on my Linux machine it was as the out of box experience should be. Fired right up, no waiting on stupid .net, vcredist, directx crap and I've been able to play.

Steam cloud sync doesn't work on Linux
I'd say the same but I've got the 3 splash screen then crash issue. The one time I've got the game to launch I made a character and went to find berries but Steam says even my Windows copy has nothing to sync. Comically the game is non-functional on Windows but seems to run great under LInux

Game crash
Kinda concerning t see the game is still running on Unity 4. Be nice to see the next release done against current (5) as it's supposed to improve a lot of performance stuff.

Update #71: The Heavy Hitters: Rogues and Rangers
Well no multiclassing is one part but what about the rogue trap/mechanical skills in non-combat? Also unless I missed something has there been a list of pets you can have or is that still unannounced because I want kitteh! In fact I think we should be able to choose between cat and lolcat

Update #71: The Heavy Hitters: Rogues and Rangers
Two questions come to mind about this update which is #1 Will be be able to cross classes? Ranger+Rouge and will there be a lot of trap finding for Rogues. This update mentioned setting and disarming traps but in a way that sounds more like a defense offense battle mechanic than a common questing/exploring event.
