  1. You need to go back to the Ebon Hawk and talk to Kreia about the greater mysteries of the Force. Proceed through that conversation, and that will do it.
  2. That's pretty much the exact same experience I had - except instead of using Force Crush, I had Force Enlightenment, and I used a couple of swipes of my lightsaber on Darth Sion for the same effect.
  3. Single-bladed saber: 26-55 damage, +35 to hit. Enhanced with Master Battle Meditation and Master Valor: 33-62 damage, +42 to hit. Upgrades Personal crystal: - +6 vs Dark Side - +3 Damage, Light Side - +1 Attack - Slow 25% Chance, 6 Seconds, DC 14 - +3 Str, +Dex, +4 Wis Pontite Crystal: - +1-10 Damage, Cold - +2 Cha Silver Crystal Pure Kunda Lens: - +1 Attack - +2 Deflection Fencing Emitter: - +1 Damage, Engery - -2 Deflection - +1 Defense Superior Diatium Energy Cell: - +4 Damage, Energy
  4. Only Jedi Masters get any of the Force Forms besides Force Channel (which all Jedi learn). Jedi Guardians, Jedi Sentinels, Jedi Weapon Masters and Jedi Watchman all learn six of the seven Lightsaber Forms. Jedi Consular/Jedi Masters learn three Lightsaber Forms and four Force Forms.
  5. ::checks out Bastila and Visas:: Hot. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I second that - though I'd take the Miraluka goth chick over the spoiled brat any day.
  6. I found the fights to be extremely easy. I went the route of the Sentinel/Weapon Master. I didn't do any Swoop Racing, so I can't comment on that, but I did find Pazaak to be pretty easy, too. I got the Twi'lek slave girl free in one hand, and I beat the Trandoshan on Nar Shadaa in three. I just remembered on time I did have trouble.
  7. I wish I had this problem. This game was ridiculously easy, especially Malachor V. By the time I got to the proving grounds, one or two swipes of my lightsaber killed anything in my path - even the final enemies. <_< What Prestige Class did you choose? That might be your problem. If you started as a Guardian, I highly recommend you go back and choose to become a Sith Marauder if you want to be on the Dark Side. That will make you almost unbeatable on Malachor V. With Fury and Ignore Pain, nothing can stand in your way.
  8. Level 1: Jedi Sentinel Str 12 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 14 Wis 12 Cha 14 Skills: Computer 4 Stealth 2 Awareness 4 Persuade 4 Security 2 Treat Injury 4 Feat: Class Skill: Demolitions At Level 2, add Demolitions +2, Awareness +1, Persuade +1, Treat Injury +1. Every level after that, add Awareness +1, Persuade +1, Treat Injury +1 and continue to add to Demolitions, Stealth and Security until they reach 4 at Level 5. From that point forward in the game, Awareness, Persuade and Treat Injury will always have the maximum amount of skill points, while Computer, Demolition, Stealth and Security will have half that amount. However, at level 16, I abandoned my half skills in favor of Feats and combat skills and became a Weapons Master. With full Light Mastery as a Jedi Sentinel 15/Jedi Weapons Master 12, wearing the Ossus Keeper Robes, an Immortality Belt, Eriadu Strength Enhancers, my Character's Armband and wielding my personal lightsaber, my final stats were: Str 19 Dex 18 Con 20 Int 18 Wis 28 Cha 18 (Forgive me for not recalling exactly where I placed my Attribute increases. I know I placed at least one in Str, one in Con, and a number in Wis.) As for Feats, Dueling, Master Flurry, Master Jedi Defense, Weapon Specialization Lightsaber and Superior Weapon Focus Lightsaber III were among those I found essential. As for Powers, Master Heal, Master Valor, Master Speed, Master Defense, Master Battle Meditation, Force Wave, Deflection, Force Enlightenment, all the powers that Kreia, Visas and Handmaiden teach you, etc., are all good choices. By the end, I was able to have 6 attacks a round - 3 for Master Flurry + 1 for Juyo + 2 for Master Speed. Each of my attacks could potentially do over 60 points of damage when I used both Master Valor and Master Battle Meditation. So, with this build, both Darth Nihilius and Darth Sion can be beaten within two or three rounds (less if you get the higher damage that the saber was potentially capable of).
  9. Level 1: Jedi Sentinel. Str 12 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 14 Wis 12 Cha 14 Skills: Computer 4 Stealth 2 Awareness 4 Persuade 4 Security 2 Treat Injury 4 Feat: Class Skill: Demolitions At Level 2, add Demolitions +2, Awareness +1, Persuade +1, Treat Injury +1. Every level after that, add Awareness +1, Persuade +1, Treat Injury +1 and continue to add to Demolitions, Stealth and Security until they reach 4 at Level 5. From that point forward in the game, Awareness, Persuade and Treat Injury will always have the maximum amount of skill points, while Computer, Demolition, Stealth and Security will have half that amount (assuming you go the suggested Prestige route of Watchman or Master, but you'll have to abandon your half skills and focus on your maximum skills and your combat abilities if you become a Weapons Master like I did). With full Light Mastery as a Jedi Sentinel/Jedi Weapons Master, wearing the Ossus Keeper Robes, an Immortality Belt, Eriadu Strength Enhancers and my Character's Armband and wielding my personal lightsaber crystal, my final stats were: Str 19 Dex 18 Con 20 Int 18 Wis 28 Cha 18 (Forgive me for not recalling exactly where I placed my Attribute increases. I know I placed at least one in Str, one in Con, and a number in Wis.) By the time I fought the final battles, it only took Force Englightenment, Master Battle Meditation and two or three swings of my lightsaber to win. So, what I found after 45 hours of play was that early on in the game, my strategy of having a nice spread of skills as a Sentinel was very helpful. However, later on, it was less and less necessary since I had so many other members in my party who could do the job much better. That's why switching to the combat-heavy Weapons Master Presitge Class made more sense. Moreover, the Weapons Master gets the best special abilities bar none. One thing, though, if you inted to become a Weapons Master, I suggest specializing in Two-Weapon Fighting, because the Weapons Master has some special Feats available that make that style of fighting very attractive.
  10. My character was a Jedi Sentinel 15/Jedi Weapon Master 12 at the end, though I was nearly a Jedi Weapon Master 13.
  11. In my experience, the Sentinel is the best class, bar none. The progression according to the book looks like this*: Feats Powers Skills Consular: Low High Low* Guardian: High Average Low Sentinel: Average Average Average *I've noticed that in actual gameplay that Consulars seem to get Average Skill point progression, but their selection of skills aren't as good as those of the Sentinels. A Sentinel given the Class Skill: Demolitions Feat at first level with a 14 Intelligence can have Awareness, Persuade and Treat Injury all maxed out with Computer, Demolitions, Security and Stealth at half strength by fifth level and keep it that way for the rest of the game (assuming your Prestige choice is Watchman or Master, if you become a Weapons Master, you'll have to give up your half skills and focus on your maxed skills and combat abilities). With a judicious use of Feats, that Character is unbeatable.
  12. At the end of my first game (I'm starting another now), I was just shy of 28th level. I ended up being a Jedi Sentinel 15/Jedi Weapon Master 12 - and I was quite upset that I didn't get to at least 30th level just for balance's sake.
  13. How come You had a lvl 40 character when echmyr have a lvl 27 character? Are there so different ways that one reaches 40 and the otherone 27-29? Blackeye <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I'd really like to know how you did that. I finished the game in about 45 hours (which is about as fast as the IGN reviewer, so I figure that must be about average). When I finished, I was a Jedi Sentinel 15/Jedi Weapon Master 12 - and I was damned disappointed that I didn't make it to 30th level, let me tell you! I think my problem was that I just didn't gain enough Influence on my allies. I neglected GO-TO and HK, and I never did teach Bao-Dur the ways of the Jedi. Oh well, there's always next time.
  14. Forgive me for working from memory; I'm at work, so I can't check my saved game. I have a bad habit of forgetting what the low damage of my sabers are, but I remember the ballpark figures pertaining to my lightsaber. As I recall, at the end of my game, my saber did something in range of 26-55 damage. When enhanced with Master Battle Meditation and Master Valor, the upper range of damage went well into the 60s. For what it's worth, my character was a Jedi Sentinel 15/Jedi Weapon Master 12 at the end, with Weapon Specialization Lightsaber.
