Of course I played the last one, and it wasn't nearly as buggy as this one. And I don't understand the last comment, of course this is true. Which is why I want a replacement disc when the are ready, but too late, got returned last night. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had alot of problems when i first got the game and called lucasarts and i did the load 3 games 1 after the other then load SWKOTORII TSL and have not had problem except 1 instance upgrading my stuff on the workbench put me back at the main menu. Now this will not fix the framerate issues but will fix alot of the other glitches that happen.

Try the load 3 games trick it might help you out!. Its in my oher topic about problems with the workbench. Load 3 games 1 after another for a few seconds then load up KOTORII and see if it happens.

Take 3 games (not including The Sith Lords - henceforth known as TSL) and one by one insert them into the DVD drive in your Xbox after each has loaded to the menu screen replace it with the next game. Once you have completed this re-insert the game disk for TSL and boot it up. Once the main menu is booted try accessing an old save file off of your xbox HD (hard drive) (perferably (sp?) one that was made near a workbench or whatever your problem may be), once the game is loaded try the workbench. According to Hitman it fixed the problem he was having with the workbenches and all the other problem he had previously encountered in the game. By loading in the 3 games (not including TSL) you are in effect flashing the memory buffer and causing it to reset which should allow the game to work correctly from now on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I couldn't have said it better myself and yes it does work i have not had a problem since. My only problem i have had was when i was upgrading stuff it took me to the main menu 1 time thats it no other problems so far.

I would have liked to see more things for the character creation more faces, long and short hair, beards, different eyes, noses, ears, tall or short say 6"4 or taller if i want to, fat skinny ect. Jedi Robes with hoods, different hilts like dooku's ect.

It varies some get it 4-6 hrs in some it takes 15-20hrs all depends on if you do every quest and what planets you choose.

Upon further testing all my old glitch saves that did not work NOW WORK huge find here people if you are having problems try this out it does work!. My MVrook save where i could not go any further either light or dark now works just beat him thank god it works.

Ok i have not been able to use a workbench all game until now here is what i did it is a problem with the xbox memory cache!. Take 3 games load them 1 at a time then load up the swkotorII TSL and it should work when previously it didn't. I took a old save on first level tried it and now can use the workbench try it out thank you Lucasarts for the help on this. Hopefully all my old mess ups will now work praying :D

Same hardware yes same drives heck no mine is crapolla thompson drive, the newer xbox has better samsung drive and before that was the phillips drive but the samsung is the best by far and thats what i think is the whole problem bad drive!. Ok i called Obsidian and got nowhere just 15 minutes of nothing to just tell me to call lucasarts and i did. This is what they told me- Workbench not working- Take your character strip them down to nothing then try the workbench and see if it works. They also said if that doesnt' work to wipe the saves and restart. Take 3 games load 1 at a time for a few seconds rinse repeat with 3 games then load up SWKOTOR-SL there might be a problem with the memory cache on the xbox thats what they told me and well i am off to try!.

If you have any mines try that what i mean is plant some around after you have run from him threw the plants ect. then get him to chase you threw the mines.

Looks like i need to go and buy a new xbox!.

I would like to here from Obsidian about the problems of Star Wars KOTOR II- The Sith Lords. I have a old xbox released in 2002 and have countless prroblems with this game the big one is not being able to use a workbench all game. I have had other glitches that have hindered my play also the M Vrook end fight on dantooine after i beat him the first time the screen goes black and i can not move on tried both lightside and darkside ways and the samething happens?. I also returned my copy of the game for a new one and the problems are still there?. Please help us out i really want to play this game and enjoy it but as of right now i do not enjoy the game. Why is there so many problems with the game just because the xbox is old?. Thanks, Jim Fraley

Well i think that it should not have to come to that i mean if thats the case and you have to have a new xbox to even play the game thats CRAP!!. They should Obsidian be aware of the problems with this game on old xbox's and address it in my opinion!. The game is released on the xbox console old or not it should work not have problems of continuing the story glitches that are unfixable, and have workbenches not work all game!.

I can't just pick 1 so- Yes, game freezes (black screen, freezing, etc.). Yes, workbench issues. Yes, broken/uncompletable quests. Yes, issues concerning T3. Those are my problems the one that is frustrating is the workbench i can not use them which sucks because i would like to upgrade alot of stuff but can't. If that worked then i can live with all of the other glitches because i have a default saber and everything else. The people that are not having problems do you have a new xbox?. Mine is old 2002 thompson drive

Why should that matter though? and it should not because they know that alot of people including myself have a old xbox. So they are basically saying that if you have a old xbox your screwed sorry?. This game should work on all xboxs not just the new ones that is unexcuseable in my book and they should replace the game with a working game that works on a old xbox instead of ripping my $50.00 off for a non working game because my xbox is old my other games work but not this i dont think i will by another obsidian game either unless they resolve this problem. The game is a coaster now in my home?. Technically i know its not there fault microsoft is at fault with putting out crappy drives in the launch consoles but man come on!.

I do not think they can actually patch the program via Live. I think it is against the rules. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh really then how about send the game back to them fix the problems so it will play on any xbox or something?. I think its just crap that the game won't play on older xbox's.

No i have not. I suggest that you do not get the game if you have a old xbox with the thompson drive and wait until you can get a new xbox.

Well i decided to return the disc for another one and it has the same exact #'s on case and disc. I still have all the problems I can not use workbench, black screen, bugs ect. So i am leaning towards my xbox MFG- Date 3-22-2002 thompson drive. I suggest that if you have a old xbox do not get the game as you will have problems wait until you can get a new xbox with the samsung drive and try it. Which sucks because all my other games work even KOTORI and KOTOR II does not??. Why did they decide to not allow live so they could have atleast made a dam patch I just don't understand. Its stupid whoever tested the game should have known how buggy, glitchy this game was and should have tested it on all xbox drives not just newer ones i paid $300.00 brand new for my xbox and really it was the dumbest thing i could have done!.

I am to the point of pure rage and so frustrated that i am disliking the game more than enioying it!. First after my problems on dantooine with the M Vrook black screen which i can't progress in the story no matter what i do light path and dark. Plus i can not use a workbench at all except the part where your the droid in the beginning and have to make a part that works but after that the workbench does not work at all?. I decided to start over and be a lightside character and see if i had the same bugs and yes i do i can not use workbenches and same glitches as before i am sure that it is my old launch release xbox more than the game which sucks because if i would have known i would have not baught the dam game!. Then while i am doing the redo with light character i go to load my old saves and they are wiped out from the game WTF i mean its been disaster after disaster for me and i will return the game and try a new copy if that doesn't work then i will never buy again until i get a new xbox with the best samsung drive dam this SUCKS!!!!!

Well i am very displeased with the game i mean it is a great game but they needed more testing not pushing to get it out before christmas?.

I had this happen to me today also with the Datooine glitch with MVrook, and just now on Nar Shadda, glitch after glitch after glitch this SUCKS!!!.
