It is probably a force power you gain through natural progression of the game man, you cant do all the Force Power from the level ups screens, just like the lightsaber styles, you get them eventually as you play more..

He joins your party when you try and goto Onderon, but your ship crash lands on Dxun Jungle Moon of Onderson..there is a big mandorlian camp there and you do little missions for them and eventually he accompanies you to Onderon.. you do know its Canderous right? I am currently on Onderon, went through Peragus, Telos, Dantooine, Korriban current level is Jedi Guardian Level 15 Jedi Weapon Master Level 5 for all the people that dont have like a lightsaber yet, goto Dantooine, you get it there, i currently got about 5, lol..

You gotta have 0 party members with you, just goto the party selection screen and dont select anyone, leaving you, just you out there to do it..
