As for me, I have always noticed that Dark Side characters tend to have a different lightsaber ignition sound. If you look in the Star Wars visual dictionary books, you will see that this is because of a synthesized red crystal that gives the character's lightsaber a special "HISS" sound. You will notice that sound in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back when Luke turns on his saber and then Vader turns his on. Vader has a different sound. You will also notice this in Episode I and Episode II, how Darth Maul has a "HISSING" sound and how Count Dooku also has that sound. I have always been fascinated by that and was hoping KotOR II would implement that but they didn't.

I am starting the Galactic Tour right now and I am a Jedi Guardian at 15 and a Jedi Master at 8. My saber right now is at 13-35. It has a Silver crystal with an Opila and Sapith power crystals. I also found a Qixoni crystal but it is restricted to the dark side. If I would have that Qixoni crystal my saber would be at 15-41. I really haven't had any luck with finding saber crystals.

I have to say that I kind of like the Random Loot system in the game and I kind of don't. There are times when I am trying to find a Jedi Robe or something and I have been looking for it for quite some time and I still can't find it...that is when I do not like it. But it does add to replay value and makes the game more complex and more explorative.

Go to Dantooine. You find your lightsaber there. But you have to really LOOK for it. Go exploring, you will find the necessary parts and components in order to construct your lightsaber.

Yes!!! That is right!!! I got my own lightsaber, the one that I built. It was a difficult thing to go through to get it, but I got it. I am sorry, but a Jedi does not wield simple swords. He is nothing without his lightsaber. I got it once I left Master Vrook on Dantooine. For those of you who don't have a lightsaber yet, you need three parts to your lightsaber. You need an emitter, a lens, and of course the crystal. You have to look for the parts, they are on Dantooine. Where? Go look, it is not that hard.

Have you played the game yet? I am on Dantooine looking for Master Vrook and I still don't have my lightsaber. I have been in the game for 8 hours. If you found your lightsaber on Telos, tell me where you found it. Because quite frankly, I am getting tired of using swords.

Hi all, I am new to the forums and I just bought the game today and I am wondering when do you get your lightsaber...or HOW? Has anyone gotten theirs yet? I remember reading a review that it will be more complex to get your lightsaber. How do you get it?
