  1. I believed that the Rakata from the Unknown World built the Academy, although this is just my speculation.
  2. Yes. It is only natural, you must see the goodness first to appreciate how much suffering you can bring to the galaxy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, that is a amusing prospect not integrated into the game. For the sake of my Revan, I made her Darkside the first time, and will be Lightside whenever I feel the need. "Bad" or "evil" is subjective.
  3. Kreia's VA was absolutely masterful. I can't get enough of her 'indignities'. :D Indeed. The cutscene actually gave me goosebumps. :"> That said, the cutscenes were pretty damn good for the most part. And um, I liked the Ubese bounty hunters too. It's been a long time since I've liked a model so much. What I don't like so much is that it's such a biatch to make a mod with. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really? What track? Personally, I find that the file mus_a_711 (Malachor V. "theme", use "Miles Sound Player to play the music) is the most striking of the soundtracks. It was foreboding, almost a dirge; dead. Kreia's voice actor is persuasive, suave. Of the characters, HK-47, for his "voice", is the most entertaining. Darth Nihilus has a oddly musical voice. Has anyone noticed that the Sith holocrons (notibly AVO_SithHoSeduL3, AVO_SithHoScrmM2, AVO_SithHoSeduL2, AVO_SithHoSeduM1) speak several comprehensible English words ("Jedi", "fight like", "blood")?
  4. I respect the character that is Revan. If, by some serendipitous circumstance, I encounter her (always a her) in a non-violent situation, I'll convert whether I'm Light or Dark Side. It's ridiculous, and I can't bring myself to play Light Side, as it violates some code within me that would eventually corrupt my not-so happy go-lucky Dark Lord... Eh. I'll join whenever possible. No romance, of course. The Revan that I always depicted had too much self-respect (if it was feasible for it to be so).
  5. Is there a specific reasion why the PC version will be released later than the XBox?
  6. If anyone is interested, this is what LucasArts has on the KotOR II character page: "Mandalore "Since time immemorial, the Mandalorian clans were built on strict codes of honor and tradition. The leader of all clans was known as Mandalore. When a Mandalore fell, another would be chosen to succeed him. "Many years have passed since Darth Revan defeated the last Mandalore; none was chosen to take his place. Without a leader, the clans scattered to the far corners of the galaxy, finding work as mercenaries, raiders or worse. Now a new Mandalore has assumed rule, and rumor tells of a battle-hardened warrior who is reuniting the clans."
  7. And if you consider the all the Light/Dark Side choices presented just from the pre-XBox release news, it's not much.
  8. It's just to make them look like they're doing something other than sitting on the PC version. (Let's us know deep down they care) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> [black and White II is (from my last check-up on the news) due in February. You could try that game as well. It's ridiculous that you "anticipate" it before ordering the game, as that the days seem to stretch just to be sadistic.] Personally, I hope that KotOR II will be released before then, but making the gamers wait may increase profits. Pity, as with the grand consumer holiday approaching, they would make an indecent profit anyway. Whatever the cause for withholding the game from shelves is, it should be worth the wait. Fixing any errors and rough transitions should be a priority, but we won't know this until any further posts or until February.
  9. I don't think thats possible because some characters are supposed to follow you no matter what like Visas Marr <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It would be entertaining to attempt at proving this wrong.
  10. Indeed. Pity that the PC game won't be available for the holidays. I'll have to feed off of the second, or third,-hand rumors and details from XBox users until then. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hypothetically, it
  11. You'd have to work very hard to do that, or just cruise through the options without much forethought. It will probably depend on how crucial a party member is to the plot, exact amount of influence, and personal gaming style. An interesting possibility, that the influence system may be flawed and too easily melded to your preferences or whimsical.

  13. M'Kar Sil V. Yes, there have been four M'Kar's before the KotOR II clone, and there will be many more who will come after that one. In honor of my Revan character, you read. There's also been a Relvas Jss, Mentalic de Effer, Effing Bugger, Edormi N., Edward Drawde Iterare, Atintat Nex, Kathak kul Laun, Geoffrey Ashe, and Bob. Not all were successful characters, but I do love their names, which have been reused from many previous games. I'll reuse a few of the classics (Atintat, Relvas, Kathak kul Laun) later, if I wish.
  14. It's not what they talk about that's so intriguing, it's more of the possibilities that are presented with the articles. HK-47's little blurb, for an example. I already know that the game has the possibility of being astounding and captivating, with a honorary plot and such, and I also know that it could read like Kidnapped, a letdown. Anything before December 7th, or even 8th, isn't going to be very spoiling, as most will be musings and speculations.
