  1. The Sea Devil is pretty powerful... Reminds me of Arcanum's Looking Glass Rife pre-patch.
  2. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> FM4 never had an European release, did it?
  3. Yes. In Baldur's Gate 2.
  4. Goddamn it all of you. All this talk of Bloodlines is making me want to install it again and I don't have the time
  5. I didn't get my Wii now. I'm planning on getting the console one day but for now I'd rather stick with a more traditional setup for my games, Zelda included.
  6. For the NDS that would be Metroid Prime: Hunters. I'm a Metroid fan and all but Hunters is really more of a deathmatchy game than a solid singleplayer entry into the series, especially since it features a bit of recycled content from the Metroid Prime games.
  7. Beats down flooding the board with the emoticon.
  8. You shouldn't assume that a site devoted to discussing traditional CRPGs would frown upon everything else, since people there have different tastes other than what is discussed. From FPS to JRPG to action adventure, it's got pretty varied tastes. I also had a duplicate of me PS2 acquisition thread at the Codex, and all the PS2 titles being discussed and suggested was a pretty good example of how varied tastes over there can be. People can enjoy things they don't bitch about.
  9. I also have a different smiley too, with an evil grin And thanks Now, next up - Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the NDS and Okami for the PS2.
  10. A unique gameplay feature is not necessarily the same as advancing the series forward, especially if the features are exclusive to the games they're included in. Though the inclusion of one specific feature in several of the games is welcomed the series is still, at core, the same.
  11. There are very few things of which I am a fervent fan of, but Zelda is one of them. From what I gathered it's got the usual design and feel of a Zelda game but doesn't really move the series forward. Which may be true, but seriously, tha has been true for nearly all of its titles.
  12. I never had any problems with Amazon.uk's marketplace sellers when it came to delivering things in great condition; it's just that some refuse to ship here while apparently shipping worldwide. About the only time I had a problem was when one of them sold me the Sierra Best-Sellers version of Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay when he clearly forget to advertise that it wasn't the original version, but it wasn't that important.
  13. So I guess my tongue is going to tingle all over.
  14. Having been unable to make a preorder of the Gamecube version earlier, I had to look at Amazon.uk's marketplace every chance I had to find a copy being sold. Unfortunately most marketplace sellers are douches who seem to have some problem with Portuguistan. My luck changed today as I just found someone selling it like new. I quickly ordered it, and expect it to arrive between one to two weeks. It cost me the eyes on my face but at least I still have the thumbs to play it! :joy:
  15. Hey Hades, sing us a song about people who keep discussing the same beaten down arguments, willya? I've lost track of how many times that's been discussed.
  16. Pretty much all of it :/ I just tend to look at those kind of things like wasted opportunities to actually make a credible and solid fantasy gameworld. It's better to find sillyness that's an outcome of the settings' own elements that seeing developers shove pointless references like those in games *shrugs*.
  17. I didn't find the whole YMCA thing funny :/
  18. Wonder if you get to use the Wiimote during those sex scenes?
  19. The Singles would be my choice fo videogame sex if I was into that Although some of the Bordello soundbites are amusing
  20. Not a spoiler since it's not part of the main narrative. Marriage, divorce and wife beatings are optional.
  21. That's fun until one notices that it's all smoke and mirrors. Titles like Arrowdodger, Avatar and Arseface are bought instead of earned*, and most NPCs - wives or husbands to be included - will just follow you around after you've earned their respect by doing something like 27 Sexy Hero Dances or pelvic thrusts in front of them, wheter you're good or evil. *
  22. A truncated Zelda-styled action game with superficial curiosities?
