  1. I had that issue with the wizard casing the mirror image spell. I did not switch weapon sets either.
  2. When I have the whole party selected and then click on a portrait to select that party member the whole party is still selected. Only by clicking the character in the field can I select a single character.

  9. Yes, like in Lord of the Rings Online. They tell you common names, prefixes and suffixes for different races and the areas they come from. I'd love something like that for this game.

  11. So has there still been no official update on the release time? I hope I'm wrong but this feels like it will be delayed.
  12. Have they said how many copies of PoE they hope to sell? I know they said there were almost 80k backers and some have bought multiple copies. I would think another 100k should be attainable after release.
  13. This, especially Hearthstone players. That is a community that really appreciates a lot of planning, strategy and tactics in a game.
  14. What if the various types of enemies and creatures have different seeing? A beetle, presumably, won't really see that much beyond 10 meters, whereas a bandit might have quite the exceptional eyesight and spot you from 100 meters. This makes the most sense to me. It should probably be based upon some sort of stat roll whether they attack. Some combo of enemy perception x distance away adjusted for your stealth.
  15. Watching the video this morning i noticed when the party was exploring the cave the fog of war evaporating revealed things on the other side of walls. Specifically you can see it around the 1:45 mark. You can see parts of the Ogre's lair long before it is in the line of sight of any of the characters. Do you think this is intentional? It seems unfair to be able to scout out rooms without entering them from the other side of the wall.
  16. I'd mainly just use action queues to combine action with movement. Not to chain abilities together. For example pull your caster back 10 yards and then cast upon reaching their destination, or run your warrior into the fray and use an ability.

  18. I agree. I'm just saying worst case scenario you should be able to force through any settings you want.
  19. Hopefully you can solve most of your resolution/refresh rate problems by setting up a custom profile in your GPU settings. I imagine color blind mode would use patterns rather than colors to differentiate between friendlies and enemies. The standard green is friendly/red is an enemy could be a nightmare for someone who sees those colors as the same. Perhaps friendlies get a dashed line and enemies get a solid one or something like that. Overall I agree that the more options available for customizing the UI, selection circles, etc. the better.
  20. I'd like an action queue but perhaps limit it to only two actions. I really can't imagine needing to plan further ahead than that anyway.

  23. This demo really has my hopes up about the games. The pacing and difficulty of the combat seems very well done. I really don't see the need for additional animations for spell casting as long as all spells have unique effects. I'd much rather the devs focus their energy on balancing combat and squashing bugs at this point. I'm fine with the style of the gear, though I do agree though that the characters seem to blend in a bit too much in certain environments. Maybe there could be some sort of option to silhouette them with shadow or something to give them a tiny but more pop.
