Yes, he can make things worse for himself...

The only time the Federal government doesn't get involved in something that is dangerous to us is if they are making money off of it. -

The issue here is that if one state decides to make performing abortions illegal (and there are a few that likely would) then you have a potentially dangerous situation. Young women who get pregnant don't usually have the financial means to simply move out of state to get an abortion. Whether you believe abortion is right or wrong, the fact is women will seek out a way to reverse the pregnancy. If it is illegal in their state, they are going to take risks in order to do so. They might go to an unlicensed doctor, they might try something more drastic that will endanger the unborn child. Abortion isn't a new concept. It dates back to Ancient Times. Abortion isn't going to end just because abortion clinics are shut down. It will just become more dangerous for the pregnant woman. We have the medical knowledge to make it safe for those who make the choice, and so the Federal government has told every state that they must provide that safety regardless of personal beliefs. -
I really liked that movie. I don't get all the criticism.

At this point JA3 is very likely trapped in development hell, so it's not worth arguing over. It got bumped from this year to 2010, that's a bad sign. Heroes of Might and Magic 4 was in 3d? I remember it being crap, but not 3d. HoMM5 was in 3D and I think they actually did a great job of reviving the franchise.

Llyr, you still don't get to be part of my goon squad. Nice try though.

Most ISP's have download limits, they just don't publish them. They just slow your connection speed to a crawl if it gets out of hand.

You mean, the worst president in history's supreme Court, that's trying to overturn Roe v. Wade? I thought so. Roe vs. Wade hasn't been overturned though. People have been talking about how the Supreme Court is going to overturn it since I was in middle school (so when I was your age) and that was about 15 years ago. It's not going to happen, the case was decided very reasonably and it would take a major change in our understanding of the birth process to even bring to the court. -

I don't know what the furor is about, the Supreme Court will end up making it a moot point. That's why we have the lovely balance of power in the US. -
Oh no, that would really be too bad :/ I liked the setting and the characters a lot. It looked pretty, too. Yeah, it also seemed like it had just started to really move. It's like ending with The Empire strikes Back and never seeing Return of the Jedi. I'm not saying they are at that same level mind you. I don't mind the stock fantasy stuff. I thought the Polar Bear stuff was different enough. It has gotten me interested in the books, I might go pick the first one up. I hear they are fairly different, but I like the alternate setting stuff.

Are you sure you have the graphic settings right? I thought it was a pretty great looking game, at least on par with Oblivion. I don't know what to tell you about the gameplay.

Do it. The market will recover, it always does, and then you'll be swimming in equity.

The Golden Compass- A pretty decent movie. It's a shame they won't release any sequels, or at least that seems to be the rumor. Instead it's just a cliffhanger.

I've been playing them through Gametap. They are set up to work in the Gametap player and I've yet to encounter an bugs in their old titles. I don't think VI is available, but 1-5 are.

I remember Shattered Galaxy, that was a fun strategy game. It's good to see the MMO mold broken, and it's a shame it's not done more often.

I never got into it, tried the trial. I think it was more of a timing issue than the game itself. I like to play games when they are brand new, it's harder for me to get into a game if it's been around for awhile. I had the same issue with EQ1.

I beat Kings Quest V. I haven't played it in about 18 years, and it was very enjoyable. I forgot what a great looking game it was, even with the years that have passed. I also managed to remember most puzzles and beat it only using a walkthrough on the desert and the ocean part. Dumb mazes, I don't have time to make a map anymore.

2011 sounds about right for the next generation of consoles.

The quality of combat in Bloodlines and other games

A few crybabies doesn't equal "many gamers". The game was critically acclaimed and has sold well. People who go on forums to whine about DRM are an extremely small percentage of the purchasing public. -
You definitely pay more for an Alienware, but with that comes better customer service and better reliability.

It's amazing that whenever there is a thread about MMO's, all the negative nillies show up and feel the need to throw in their two cents. If there was a thread about the top five RTS's, I wouldn't post because I'm not a fan of them. I wouldn't clutter the thread with my negativity. I'm a big fan of MMO's. I always have one subscription going. 5. Ultima Online - Deserves a spot because it was the original big guy. It also did some stuff that other MMO's still haven't given the players. There was no levelling, skills could go up or down, and there was a lot of diversity in each character. It had a lot of customization in the world too, you could actually open up a shop and set up vendors. The PvP was hardcore and thieves actually stole stuff from players. I played for a couple months about 3 dfferent times. 4. Asheron's Call 2 - I put this on more because I personally enjoyed the experience with a few close friends I had in the original AC. It wasn't that great of an MMO, it was pretty incomplete, but the combat was pretty sweet. I played for 6 months before the content wore out. 3. Asheron's Call - My first real addiction when it came to MMO's. I met some great people in this game and I loved the wide open game world. It was a huge map. It also relied more on skills than levels, skills went up with use. It hooked me on Turbine games for sure. I played for a year and a half. 2. WoW - It's got millions of subscribers for a reason, it's polished, colorful, and has engaging quests. The starter areas are all so awesome that you really need to create a whole stable of characters to experience it all. The game does a good job of disguising the grind, but it really is a loot centric game. You are constantly trying to upgrade your gear, and that burnt me out after awhile. Still, I played for about 2 years and enjoyed it. 1. Lord of the Rings Online - I'm amazed at everything in this game. The graphics are awesome. The storyline is epic. The game world really captures the feel of the books and the movies. I've yet to feel like I was grinding for the next level and I'm at 47. I've just followed the storyline and my progression has been very natural. I also soloed from about 15-30, and it was challenging and fun. Lately I've joined a bigger kin and I'm having even more fun. I've played since release, about a year and a half. Honorable mentions (games I've played more than a month): Everquest 2, Vanguard, Final Fantasy XI, Age of Conan, Lineage 2

I linked Boston to Buffalo on Railroad Tycoon 3. I also managed to take over all my competitors and create a complete monopoly.

1960? When a failry unqualified but good looking JFK barely edged out the ruthlessy effective Nixon? The only good thing that came out of 1960 was LBJ got to serve 5 years and pass a gigantic amount of legislation while pushing the civil rights movement farther forward than anyone since Lincoln.

ToEE suffered from an unengaging storyline and an extremely steep learning curve. Where the heck were you supposed to go at level 1? I gotta blame the developers on that one. -
You know, if this stuff is true, it's going to hit the fan rather quickly. Somebody will step with information eventually. There is big money in it now.

I think I mentioned earlier that anyone with this belief is clearly under 25. Or a virgin.
