  1. Anyone else think it looks weird when the wizard casts magic missile? He waves his wand and then the missiles come out of his body instead of the wand. Hopefully this kind of thing will be tweaked.
  2. I don't think it has been known since 2012 that it would look so bad in practice. Hence the discussion now...
  3. I voted yes, especially for wilderness areas. I've been replaying bg2 and although the game is massive, many times it doesn't feel that way. And I think the problem is that world feels small because every area is linked to a quest. If you want to get to Umar Hills, you just go directly there. You don't have to explore and travel through several wilderness areas to get there like in bg1. I think this ends up making the world feel much smaller even if activities/quests are densely packed into the game. I really hope this doesn't happen to PE!
  4. I don't understand all this talk about new rewards. Isn't the reward of reaching the new stretch goals that we get more wilderness areas and companions? I'd probably give $5 for that alone. Also, there are plenty of people who didn't back during the kickstarter and are now. Perhaps Obsidian's gotten a bit more money already and that's why they're asking about stretch goals. I think it's more important to get new backers, not increase pledges of old ones

  6. I completely agree. I think people will be very disappointed if the game is shorter than say bg1. Adding new areas and companions will definitely stop something like that from happening. Also, didn't they say they outsource many wilderness areas? So it shouldn't delay the game, it should just cost money
