Pulled weeds for an hour or so then went to Best Buy to get a new Chromecast for the TV in the basement. As I'm checking out I buy the little 5 bucks warranty they offer me because my last one broke in less than a year and where I live now the store is less than 10 minutes away. Anyways, I give them my phone number and the dude asks me to make sure my info is correct and surprisingly it was. I just moved 3 months ago and I still own the old place but they had my new address and everything even though I'm not sure how as I haven't bought anything from them in store or online in who knows how long.

    Big brother got me.

I had a medical bill come to a home I was visiting while on break between homes during a move, it wasn't even the address I forwarded to as my short term permanent address. It was the place I was visiting. That's how crazy location tracking is becoming. And the bill came only to that place, none of the other places that would have been on records so It's not like they shotgunned it to get hold of me.

  2. Given how tech/corporate-centric our world is, I think Andrew Yang is in a unique position to tackle some of our current problems by guiding existing corporate institutions with revised incentives. Though some of his ideas are rather pie-in-the-sky. He's weaker on issues that are unique to the government, especially military policy, and that's where I think Tulsi really starts to pull ahead. Honestly them together would be a fantastic team.

It was Opie & Anthony. Their narrative is to try and be funny. I got a chuckle out of it but maybe I'm just easily amused. Or I hold political figures in such contempt that I think they deserve to be mercilessly mocked and held in slight regard. Take your pick.

    Fair enough

Watched the Dem debate (with the Marlins game in PIP). My take? They all suck. Tulsi Gabard sucked less than the others. Still a goddamned Democrat though. The anti-liberty party. One of them anyway.

She's the only one that I believe can reel in both the anti-liberty bend of the dems, while also reeling in the democracy disestablishing nepotocracy of the gop.

LOL, I heard this on the radio just now. They put Gabard and Biden in different debates because they were afraid he'd walk over to her and sniff her hair or something weird.

Was that conservative radio pushing some narrative? I'd think the real reason is that they are afraid Gabbard will walk all over Biden and Biden is the clear "blessed" candidate by the party.

  5. Given nazism's historical context, unless someone is aligned with similar ethno-nationalist goals, it's better to use the term fascists when it's those same tendencies being applied along different identitarian lines.

Fascist underpinnings can be entertained on behalf of any identity to cultivate a "living space" for the select peoples.

  6. Honestly I just think it's tabloid journalism which is rife on the internet and is fueled on the endless drama that comes out of illiberal reactionary faux-gressives hyperbole.

If anyone thought CDPR/GOG is a force in the market they can just invest, it's a public company. At most it's just some minor fighting over people's attention in a saturated advertising market.
