  1. During various cutscenes (The clip that T3 shows you listing the hidden Jedi Masters in particular.) that feature holograms, the portrayed character
  2. To everyone looking for a challenge: As we all know, the Guardian has lost a lot of its strength in KoTOR II. But, thanks to a superb mod at www.Pyric.com, the playing field has been leveled to produce a far more realistic experience for combat orientated classes and those that are not. http://www.cavesites.com/pyric/swkotor2/gamemods.html The above link leads to a mod that rescales the games profession BAB. No longer are Consulars and Sentinels just as deadly with a Lightsaber as a battle hardend Guardian or Weapon Master. Classes that focus soley on the Force are in for a rough ride with this mod installed while combat classes will clearly notice their own superiority during combat. Why this wasn't the case to begin with is beyond me. But I'm glad someone went to the trouble to make this mod.
  3. In addition to using distinct colours I also used a save game editor mod (KSE v3.2.5) to give Kreia and my Padawan specific Lightsaber forms that I used throughout the entire game regardless of the situation. I loved the inclusion of forms in KoTOR II and I built each character's Lightsaber around a particular style. I think each form suits a particular NPC
  4. Selo En-Adi. A perfectly reasonable Starwars name.

  6. Indeed, I called play.com yesterday and they said there was a chance that my order might come today since it was dispatched on Wednesday night. If not then definitely Monday. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, these guys are certainly good, much better then Amazon, they couldn't even dispatch it. lol <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just got it now in the mail! Since it was dispatched on the 9th, it makes sense. You'll probably get yours on Monday JamieKirby since it's transported from Jersey. I've never had a problem from Play.com. They have a good return and replacement policy.
  7. Yes, the bonuses are back. They're visible in the modifier section of the character screen. Classes that share the same bonus stack on top of each other (Though it won't show if the bonus is in the same attribute.) so Jedi Sentinal/Jedi Watchman and Jedi Guardian/Jedi Weapon Masters do get a +6 in their respective fields, however you'll only see +3. Jedi Sentinal/Jedi Watchman = +3 CON Jedi Guardian/Jedi Weapon Master = +3 STR Jedi Consular/Jedi Master = +3 WIS Sith Marauder = +1 to 8 extra damage Sith Assassin = +3 DEX Sith Lord = +50 Force Points You can test this by stripping your character of all items and looking at your Character screen. Your stats with the bonuses will highlight in yellow, and then you can compare those numbers with the numbers you see at level up (which are your "real" numbers).
  8. Lightsaber vs Double-Bladed Lightsaber: 1. Higher Attack bonus (Which also effects blaster deflection) via the Duel feats (+3 at Master Dueling.). 2. Higher Defence bonus via the Duel feats (+3 at Master Dueling.). 3. Greater weapon threat range and potential. 4. +3 to blaster deflection via the Duel feats (See 1.). 5. Requires the Two Weapon Fighting feats to make it viable. Lightsaber vs Duel Lightsabers: 1. Higher Attack bonus (Which also effects blaster deflection) via the Duel feats (+3 at Master Dueling.). 2. Higher Defence bonus via the Duel feats (+3 at Master Dueling.). 3. +3 to blaster deflection via the Duel feats (See 1.). 4. Requires the Two Weapon Fighting feats to make it viable. Lightsaber vs Short Lightsaber: 1. +4 max damage.
  9. Right. But can you build 18-required Implants? Oh, and I won't even ask how astronomical the component cost will be  When should I start pumping into Con? Seems sort of unpratical at the beginning and I'm taking a wild guess assuming you don't find those implants until real late... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You'll have to invest your attribute points from the get-go otherwise you won't reach 18 CON anytime soon. You'll have 18 CON by lvl 16 if you start with 14 as your CON, lvl 8 if you start with 16 CON. The amount of components you receive is decided by your main character's Repair skill lvl, so invest in that to get the best deal out of your junk items.
  10. Indeed, I called play.com yesterday and they said there was a chance that my order might come today since it was dispatched on Wednesday night. If not then definitely Monday.
  11. Question is, is that for first class delivery? IE delivered by friday? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I preordered the game from Play.com on the 2nd of this month. I received an email at 9:50 PM today stating that it had been dispatched via "recorded mail", which my account history at the website confirms. I don't know how fast recorded mail is, but I'd guess It won't arrive later than Friday. With a little luck I might even receive it tomorrow. Amazon.uk should be in the same position.
  12. Graphics isn't always the milestone of progression. If the game portrays a definite leap in gameplay, tells a tale that is removed but also reminiscent of the first game e.g. your connection to Revan and the return or cameos of previous characters along with the consequences of the choices you made previously, then you've got the makings of a sequel. TSL is set five years after KOTOR, time is usually a good tool exploited by a sequel as it allows things to develop; for characters to mature and give plausible credibility to those changes. Though, to be honest the proof is in the pudding. We won't know jack till we play the game from beginning to end. But the signs point towards the game being a sequel if not at least a continuation of what we enjoyed in the first game i.e. more Force powers, skills and better balance gameplay wise overall.
  13. Well, gathering from what I've deciphered from the various video interviews and articles from the devs. I'm led to believe that there may not be an actual "super weapon" this time around. The Devs mentioned how TSL would be darker than KOTOR, much like ESB was to ANH. As we all all know in ANH, the Death Star was the prime instrument of evil however, in ESB the good guys spent their entire time on the run from Vader. My guess is that we'll probably be doing the same with regards to the multiple Sith Lords in TSL. As our character struggles to reconnect to the Force he/she will encounter various Sith Lords who will vie for the opportunity to wax us out like one does a stain on their prize car. The title says it all really.
