  1. Ukraine insists that Russia exploded drones in Romania, while Romania insists no such thing happened and on the other hand you have claims from some Russian sources that drones were launched from Estonia. If this whole ****fest doesn't blow up in the world face I think we can count ourselves as lucky.

I'll never understand the need to pit these games against each other. Like, do you only get to play one game in life? They are both great RPG's, yay.

There can be only one...queue mortal kombat music...

I’m currently in Melbourne, trying out some Persian food before flying home in the afternoon. Came down here Tuesday because a friend had bought Evanescence tickets for Wednesday nights concert and offered me one if I would go with her. What kind of friend would I be to not jump on a plane and join her 😂

the concert was great though 😎

Did she do her old stuff or the "new" electronic?

WoT had Harriet McDougal and Brandon Sanderson as producers, for all the good it did. Witcher had Sapkowski...

How on earth they gave Rafe Judkins another series (not Bladerunner, to avoid any implication) to run after WoT I don't know unless the whole thing actually is an elaborate tax fiddle. WoT was an expensive series and it looked like Hercules/ Xena half the time.

Maybe the numbers are good? Idk, I pretty much gave up on anything coming out of amazon. I will probably try the Blade Runner show.

Also found out that there are 3 shorts, that are available on YT, that bridge the gap between the movies. They are worth a watch and explain some things.

Who is the showrunner? If it's the same as WoT or RoP, I have bad news for you.

So apparently Scott Ridley is a producer (not executive as I read originally, or they both are executive producers(idk how that works)), showrunner and executive producer is Silka Luisa and the pilot is directed by Jeremy Podeswa.

I guess, if the ending at least told the outcomes for the major NPCs and areas (1 2D picture with 1 sentence of text per NPC/area), it would have been more acceptable.

    Apparently that was cut content.

I have to specify "Shadows of Amn" because I think Throne of Bhaal is largely junk

Are there any expansions that were actually as good as the core game? I'm trying to think of some but nothing comes to mind.

  8. So the ending is definitely the weakest part of the game, kind of went out with a whimper. People are saying it's due to the cut content, but even quality wise it's very weak.

As far as the story goes

    Spoiler

This definitely had no reason to have a 3 next to it's name, that was a pure attempt to grab people on nostalgia.

The main quest itself is kind of funny considering that in BG2 underdark you pretty much killed a whole room full of elder brains. I guess they got around that by bumping it up to be a nether brain...

Bg2 main story is miles better in my opinion, but that could very well be the nostalgia talking (probably is).

The music is really good. It has a more modern flavor and I liked that if for nothing else than it being different that everything else in the crpg genre, which is not to say that others games have bad music, this was just a breath of fresh air.

Environmental sound is still non existent or at least very subdued. Idk why it's hard to do some background noise like in BG2 and IWD2, it makes such a big difference in making the world feel alive. Tbh I would have traded a large part of the voice acting for that.

Gamplay is not as good as the rtwp game, simple as that, especially in big and drawn out fights.

I'll definitely play this game when the definitive edition comes out.

Probably could also get foreign volunteers if needed.  Ground crew, not so much I guess.

If anything, I think it's this. Like with the patriots, they will use western crews for those f-16. Even if the Ukrainian pilots can fly and land the planes that is a far cry from using them efficiently or at all in any sort of mission. It's not even just about learning to fly a new plane, but also unlearning a lot of things that were second nature to them on the Migs and Sukhois.
