  1. That's what they did (pretty much) with the IMAX Edition. Talk about a movie experience! :D If ROS is even half as good as the trailer makes it out to be, it will be knocking on ESS as the best Star Wars film. I so want this movie not to suck.
  2. My apologies for not quoting the post that I was correcting. It was right above mine when I started the post. :D
  3. Not to nit-pick, but Yoda died in Episode 6. All other points are as you stated. Odan Urr was the only other Jedi (that I know of) who lived longer than Yoda and is the only one on record as having lived longer than 1000 years. Yoda was born approximately 3100 years after the events of KotOR I and II took place so it's highly unlikely (i.e. next to impossible) that Revan taught Yoda. You might be able to make a case that the ghost of Revan could have taught Yoda just as the ghost of Exar Kun turned Luke to the darkside after the events shown in the movies.
  4. I'm not sure which part of my post you are disagreeing with. MoO ]I[ may not have been the first project that the developers had abandoned that the modding community restored, but it's undeniable that the modded MoO ]I[ is better than the original. If you are referring to the legal portion, most mods/sites that are shut down are because of a cease-and-desist letter that the community isn't likely to challenge in court because of money, etc. Should a community mount a legal effort, I think you'd be surprised at the outcome. I will agree that KotOR II is going to be modded much more than MoO ]I[ ever was. However, MoO ]I[ is so much better modded than unmodded that I won't even play the game unmodded. This is despite the fact that I got two copies of MoO ]I[ completely free because of the Amazon.com rebate being larger than the purchase price. :D
  5. Master of Orion ]I[ has been modded by the community to be much better than it was upon release. As for legal issues... Theoretically, they are using LA's own files in the game to restore content whilst adding their own (presumably), the downloads aren't for sale, they're not using the content to make or mod another game, so I don't see any copyright infringement. IANAL, but I handle software permission contracts at my job, so some knowledge of copyright law is kinda required.
  6. I don't have KotOR II yet (waiting for the TSL and a decent patch) but I do have both the PC and XBox versions of the first one. At first, getting used to the keyboard/mouse combination didn't seem very smooth as the XBox controls felt more "natural". Now, having played the PC one for quite a bit I don't know why I put up with the XBox controls for so long! If you want to use a gamepad, I've heard that Saitek makes the only decent one for the PC. I don't have any knowledge about how well a PS2 to USB adapter would work. Always worth a try!
  7. Then let me rephrase that to: Read the title of the poll 8 or 9 times before posting again in this thread.
  8. Everyone that reads this thread. please read the above post about 8 or 9 times before posting. I mean, how many times must this be said? Chris Avellone himself has already said, the patch will only fix the bugs. That's it. The patch will only fix technical issues. The patch will only fix technical issues. The patch will only fix technical issues. The patch will only fix technical issues. The patch will only fix technical issues. Also, the patch will only fix technical issues. Edit: The patch will only fix technical issues. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The thread's title is "What Would You Like To See Fixed By The Patch?" I suggest you read the title 8 or 9 times before posting in this thread again.
