  1. Lockheed’s F-35 topples competition in Swiss fighter contest.
  2. Im not sure Id encourage my "friend" to beta test something they would stick their junk into. Should probably wait for it to be fully vetted.
  3. Wait, aliens anally probe the cattle too!?
  4. "Hypersonic" is the new black, which is the same as the old black. What if I told you, that with my own two hands, I help assemble hypersonic missiles back in the early 90's. Say hello to the AIM-54 Phoenix missile. Weve been able to make rockets go very fast for a long time.
  5. 21:30-04:45 Then my body naturally wakes up without an alarm.
  6. Ive completely stopped wearing a mask and I wasnt really social distancing...I mean I still hung out and drank and played darts with my buddies in the garage. I guess bullet -> dodged.
  7. Heh, Im asleep before my head hit the pillow.
  8. Sounds like he needs three fingers of bourbon. I kid, I kid.
  9. Another company is also developing aeroponics pods, FOR SPACE! 3D Printed, AI Controlled BioPods Can Grow Food in Space.
  10. Electric takes too long, but I guess its fine if you only recharge overnight. It would piss me off to no end to sit in line at a recharge station and then waiting while my car recharges. I checked and there are a total of ZERO hydrogen stations in the entire state of IL.
  11. Last question, and you may not have even done it yet, but how long does it take to fill the tank? Just a few minutes like gasoline?
  12. That sounds like a good package. Google teels me the MSRP of the Miria is $50495, did you pay in that ball park? EDIT: Also, do you get a tax credit for hydrogen vehicles?
  13. Whats a hydrogen "fill up" cost?
  14. Imo, in IL, they already did that in a (not so) inconspicuous way. I was required to enter my drivers license number into the document when I got to the pharmacy, so Im pretty sure they already know exactly who has received the vaccination and what dose they are on.
  15. I wonder how that would work here in the US. Tbh, the Covid-19 vaccination card from the CDC that my wife and I received could have been printed at home from my PC, and is filled out by hand. Its easily fakeable, but I guess you have to hope too many jacktards dont cheat the system.
  16. Heh, I was just playing fetch with my kitties. For whatever reason they really love these elastic hairbands that my wife uses, so I shoot them like a rubber band and they zoom off to retrieve it. Ive even got it down to a science where they will bring it back and drop it right at my feet. Its freaking adorable.
  17. US-developed hypersonic missile hit within 6 inches of target, says Army secretary. Warheads? We dont need no stinkin' warheads! Stick a tungsten penetrator in it and watch everything get shattered by the kinetic force. Ive always wished they developed the "Rods from God".
  18. @Amentep I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they should just pay for their education and services with their new found money?
  19. Yep Im aware of that model. Cracks me up when they aim it a carrier shaped carvings in the ground too. Aiming at air is easy. The pant crapper when I was in the Navy was the fearsome Exocet. "It comes in near supersonic at wavetop levels! We can'nae stop it, Captain!"
  20. I could be wrong, but I dont think the Chinese have any conventional warheads that big. Does anyone? Even the MOAB "only" has a blast yield of 11 tons.
  21. Heh, I read a story about how someone bricked a Ferrari by trying to perform a system update in an underground garage. No signal = no worky and the entire car locked up.
  22. Oh those wacky Brits. Iirc, they also propose to ask babies permission to change the dirty diaper.
