  1. Just a heads up but there is about only 40 hours left until this Kickstarter ends. If you're a fan of animation or anime in general, please help us get to that $175,000 stretch goal and over. There will be no commerical release for this film so if you guys want a physical blu ray copy of the movie, pledge at $60 or above. $30 for a dvd copy. We're almost there guys, lets finish this one strong.
  2. Story. I didn't play Planescape for the story. After playing Deadly Premonition, I honestly could care less about gameplay if there is going to be an amazing story.
  3. Nier. It frustrates me how underrated this game is. The story is just amazing. Prob. the only good game that Square Enix has put out this gen that is actually good and a game that has become my #1 favorite. If I can save another, it would be Planescape. The characters and story's in both these games mean so much to me. I am particularly intrigued by the idea of souls and reincarnation in Eternity and I can just tell that this is a story that will likely rise above the rest in the medium and be one that will join the other two in my top fav. games of all time.
  4. Financially, I'm not in the position to put down an extra $100 for an art book as much as I adore them. I love Chris Avellone for what he did to Planescape Torment (prob. my second favorite game of all time behind Nier) and would love to have him sign my CE box. However, signatures mean nothing to me unless I get to meet a certain someone in person. I've already put down $60 for that Kick Heart anime from production I.G and I'm thinking about pledging to that Shaker rpg as well. It's just as far as I'm wiling to go for now unless I can get some extra cash.
  5. Even if there is no physical release, you can just print out the pdf files which shouldn't be too bad.
  6. I think it's bad advice to tell people to just wait for a retail release because I seriously doubt that there is going to be a retail release with all the physical items aside from the digital content.
  7. I'm assuming that somewhere down the line the $250 tier and up is going to be one of those expensive goods that sell for incredible high prices on Ebay. I have no doubt in my mind that with all the creative freedom and love that is going into this, that this is prob going to go down as one of the greatest if not greatest rpg ever. I guess that would be an incentive to put down the extra cash but even so the price is subjective. For $250 that book better be thick. Then again, Obsidian is actually cool enough to give an art book at $250 because compared to the Double Fine adventure game you have to pay $500 whereas Wasteland 2 I think has none. I don't know I'm still on the fence on this and i hope it's something i won't regret if I don't go through with it.
  8. Sadly, I dont think so. I've already asked and a lot of people on here weren't too happy about this idea. With about three days left, I think they would had announced something already. At this point I think I'm going to just stick with my $25 pledge. I'm not too jazzed about a cloth map and a game patch to put down $140 which is a shame because for that price, the art book should be included nonetheless. I share your pain.
  9. We can just not add it in a lower tier. But instead have it as an add on like the beta or additional digital copy. As of now, I am content with buying just a digital copy of the game or the normal box version and paying say $50 to around $100 for the art book. In all honesty, I don't believe that making an add on for the art book devalues the higher tiers in any way. If we are expected to pledge say around $100 bucks for the art book alone, I'd say that is pretty fair. You're still getting your autographs to other exclusives like the elite cloth map and your name in the credits.
  10. Yeah it's kind of a shame that something that usually comes with most other collectors editions for $150 or less would be confined to this type of pricing. I do hope they consider this anyways. Would it be fair to maybe offer it as maybe a $50-100 or so add on? In my eyes, they won't be down downgrading any of the other tiers and it will simply be an add on for some more money similar to an extra digital copy or the beta.
  11. I was wondering if it is possible for us pledgers to have an add on to our pledge that will include a copy of the art book. As much as I want to go for the $250 pledge, I just don't think I can go that far. Is it possible to maybe include a softcover version at a lower tier? Or maybe have the artbook as an add on to one of our tiers if we pledge for instance an extra $50 or so. I would even settle for a softcover only edition. As much as I want to support the game, it kills me that this is limited to the $250 and up tiers.
