  1. Is it Naruto or the Overfiend? What about two of Neil Breen's ballsacks? Coming soon in Twisteder Pair 2.
  2. @Bartimaeus will have company in the well.
  3. One of the hilarious things about WotR is that seems to have both given the edgelords some of the most evil options they want in a game while simultaneously having some of the dumbest evil lines of all time. That's true, I've heard it compared to textures that end up enhancing the main thing they're trying to emphasize. The problem is, and I say this as someone beat Kingmaker but haven't gotten past the water elemental in WotR, that the timing is just incredibly wacky. Maybe Owlcat has improved, but seeing "I don't like you, die!" makes me doubt that.
  4. I completely forgot about The Northman. Looks like less than a year away. Lost Highway and Brazil almost took out Thunder Road, but there's a charm that movie has that I really like.
  5. Just edited it. The Lighthouse slightly edges it out for me right now, but the VVitch almost made my list.
  6. I'd really struggle for a top 10, if only cuz my tastes can change based on mood. But here's ten I really love. Stray Dog Parasite Thunder Road Pan's Labyrinth The Thing Bram Stoker's Dracula Tangerine Shortbus (major NSFW) Casino The Lighthouse Come at me I guess.
  7. The hours are worse than trucking though.
  8. Ok that's it, you're going down the well. I think you're supposed to see a doctor if you have an erection lasting more than four hours.
  9. Midnight Mass. The first episode didn't really grab me and I held off for a while after but I'm glad I went back. There's parts that drag but on the whole it is a very good horror miniseries.
  10. The coin got lost, so it's time for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
  11. Don't worry about it, tbh I didn't really notice until yesterday because I've mostly been phone posting and the avatars are tiny there.
  12. God damn forum. While Mari posting is funny, I thought it would be too on the nose and expected. It came down to evil smile Guts, Cassidy from Preacher, or DIO. Don't worry about it, stuff happens. I like most of yall and I don't think anyone here does anything maliciously. If we wanted that we'd go into political threads or the food thread.
  13. Cats don't need to think. We have broken into the anti-universe. You will figure it out when the laws of causality deem it time.
  14. Steins;Gate 0 15 and 16 I think. Okarin grabs a melty green banana, Mayushii gets sad, and Daru confesses his "moe moe kyun" feelings for his cosplay gf. I like the show well enough, but with the finale coming up I'm hoping more conspiracy stuff happens.
  15. In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least, it is true that man has no control, even over his own will.
  16. It could be, it could also be that at that point when WotR was announced there was not too much content out for 2e (I think one adventure path and the player's handbook), so they just went with the system that had a decade of published content. Either is plausible and makes sense. With 2e releasing more content I think a 2e game isn't far off. But I don't think it's next for Owlcat. 2e differs significantly from 1e that they'd need to scrap a ton of stuff, while comparatively Starfinder is more similar to 1e, is currently being published by Paizo, and does fit with that hiring notice for a people with experience in scifi games. Right now I'd bet on that the next Owlcat game will be Starfinder and a 2e game follows that. If they keep the same pace that they did with KM and WotR, then I guess we'll probably see a kickstarter in mid to late 2022.
  17. Well Pazio did license WotR after 2e was published so I think they're at least willing to license their 1e adventure paths. While I agree that they'd prefer some advertisement for their current product line, any attention probably helps when you're a distant second to DnD. Personally I'd prefer the dark horse wins. But my money is on that they'll give Starfinder a shot next. It's a step up from pf 1e if only because mythic shenanigans can't compete shooting a techno-lich with a plasma rifle. I guess we'll just see what happens. The forum software must be hungry today.
  18. Yeah, I think it could very well make Deadfire's ship combat look good. And given Kingmaker and WotR, it will be mandatory. I think Abomination Vaults and Fists of the Ruby Phoenix are both half the length of the usual adventure paths, so I could see either being an expansion length dlc added to an adaptation. Maybe even both, who knows?
  19. I think Starfinder is most likely, followed by another PF1e game, and then a PF2e game being a dark horse. If it's Starfinder I'm worried about starship combat, if it's 1e again I hope they get all the classes in WotR sorted out first and maybe not do mythic stuff again, if it's 2e I hope it's Strength of Thousands or Agents of Edgewatch. In all cases I want guns.
  20. Steins;Gate 0 13 and 14. Brainwashing and stuff lmao. Mayushii also tuturus via text. I think globally, the mask coming off so to speak is increasingly a component of right-wing politics. In actual policy I don't think it's going to immediately get too much different (for example Trump was really just a more vulgar edition of Bush Era ghouls, so much that the guy who stole the 2000 election also tried to steal 2020) but it's going to gear up for some not so creeping authoritarianism being normalized and pushed through. Basically the dream of rich guys who think killing kiddos is a-ok and can't use question marks.
  21. I think Steins;Gate is internally consistent but......I can't really explain without heavy spoilers.
  22. Oh just you wait. Things get a lot stranger and more techno-babbly. On the bright side, no more Hounin Kyouma laughs.
