  1. You as a consumer though get inaccurate reviews.
  2. In Mech Warrior news: I bought a 70 ton heavy Archer and a 60 ton Tunderbolt mech. I can now deploy about 240 tons worth of mechs, while the highest deployment allowance I have encountered wit my current missions is 270 tons. Of course being 30 tons below the limit was painful and my Wolverine will spend 2 months in refit and repair. In Troubleshooter news: I am waiting for Monday's update to get new missions. Played the story content I hadn't played yet and really enjoyed the missions. The Giselle + Ray missions was very tense and worked out perfectly out of complete, sheer luck. Thunderbolt (the unique Tima from the white tiger gang that Giselle tamed, not the mech form Mech Warrior 5) somehow got an immortality buff, so he tanked most of the Drifter Clowns, killing them with his electric field's return damage. The Alisa + Bianca mission was a lot of fun. Alisa went berzerk and killed half the map without getting a turn, just through berzerking from incoming attacks. I haven't got the best build for her yet, but I now crafted the Berzerker Set, because she is just so much fun to watch.
  3. The gang isn't small, it's a startup
  4. Clearly. The funny thing is, all the missions you do for the baseball guy, the regimental team you were supposed to sabotage actually ends up playing better out of determination and has increased fan support.
  5. I have to jump to an industrial hub and fix up some of my 50-55 ton mechs I salvaged. And possibly buy something heavier. Missions are starting to get seriously rough. I blame baseball. That mission arc dropped me in the middle of a Steiner - Marik conflict and missions have gone from difficulty rating 20 to 48
  6. with all the covid talk I have been humming this for a while:
  7. Save and quit The problem with early access. People write criticism in the first week and it sticks around forever
  8. They haven't said yet. So far the announcement is limited to basically "hey people, we'll continue making content for the game". It'll be a smaller dlc. Which hopefully means no crabmits in it. The monster missions in lion and witch were just a distraction nobody would have noticed if they had been left out.
  9. Black Witch and White Lion DLC will be content complete with the patch on Monday. A second DLC for Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children will be worked on after that. It will feature Misty Jäger (see screenshot). She'll have access to the rogue class. Once that DLC is done, development will be started on Troubleshooter: Banished Children. *squeee*
  10. Wrong thread. What I meant to post here was: Glad the autumn sales are over. Nearly bought stuff.
  11. When the visibility is good, the battlefields can be quite pretty Of course some of the special missions...
  12. And the most important snippet of military history in Battletech and Star Trek is The Alamo.
  13. Low visibility she said...
  14. Got hired to cause a mech-crisis to force the Lyran Twentieth Sky Rangers to respond... so that their regimental baseball team misses their match.
  15. You too are waiting for the final content patch for Troubleshooter on the 3rd of December?
  16. Purchased my first heroic mech. It's a Javelin, so not all that scary at 30 tons, but I guess I'll know what my light mech of choice will be to fill up tonnage. I am also in an industrial hub that sells heavy and assault mechs. I could buy a Victor, or a Grasshopper, or a Warhammer or. a. ZEUS!
  17. Can't even trust David Bowie to give you proper quests...
  18. For you to be posting means you are OK though? Do be careful though. You were supposed to be joking when you said you wanted me to look after the kids if something happened to you...
  19. Just to impress @Lexx, I salvaged an Urban Mech
  20. Securing the landing zone and watching the battle from afar - Independent flyers and mech engaging the Lyran Commonwealth counterattack. Main force landing.
  21. Pro tip for MechWarrior 5: don't step on the loot.
  22. Pirates offering me a very profitable mission. I don't usually work for pirates. But they give me a 50% bonus on negotiated payouts...
  23. I'm happy they fixed the bug where mech's legs would get repaired if they changed direction.
  24. Yeah, all it did was buy some time for the actual reinforcements to arrive. Those included a Vulcan, which is less of a joke edit: mind you, when I get asked what kind of car I'd like, Urban Mech has been my answer for years. Probably just short enough so I could park it outside my apartment building and get right into the ****pit from my third floor balcony.
