  1. There are some indications that the issues may persist. Doctors Worry That Memory Problems After COVID-19 May Set The Stage For Alzheimer's
  2. Sure, why not? We have a field of astrobiology now, so why not look for signs of past visits? Personally I think we might find something when we do in-depth searches of the asteroid belt. That's an ideal location for Von Neuman-style self-replicating machines to make more copies of themselves.
  3. For most of the body I would expect some degree of recovery. Loss of brain function though seems much more problematic. It might prove similar to a stroke, where it takes years of work to retrain the brain.

That includes egregious (and intentional) mis-management of quarantine measures, disparaging Dr. Fauci, and embracing anti-science. I think it would save a lot of lives if Trump were to vanish from the scene right now, but that doesn't seem likely.
  11. Florida now has one in five COVID-19 cases, and a law prohibiting vaccine documentation. Enjoy that Caribbean cruise old timers; I hear it's sick.
  12. ~226 years. It is an evolving science though, so each step forward requires testing and validation.
  13. It's worth a shot. Bah-dum-tish.
  14. Not sure I'd be happy to have a CRISPR enzyme floating around in my blood stream. They're going to have to test the cr*p out of that first.
  15. Regardless of the actual views of the Democrats, I don't think the outcome in Cuba is going to be a good one for the protesters.
