    Oh yes, that's because of having overly high expectations they're sometimes also being over-critized, but I guess that's just a part of their charm. how could you POSSIBLY have overly high expectations of a dev studio that has always failed your expectations . upon stumbling across this statement i found it very simplistic, a mistake that could have been repaired by even a child. For children are renowned for having the logical sense to understand how illogically baffling this Janus of a backer is.

    Jennifer Hale and possibly Steven Jay Blum will be in it. They're in everything. It's a physical law on par with the speed of light or Avagadro's Number. oh christ ANYTHING but blum. he's always the same person

    I got through to DPN talent agency and they referred me to Atlas talent agency, as DPN no longer represents Jim Cummings. Office is currently closed and I will likely be calling them after the weekend.

    i agree not a necessity but if we can raise the funds and i can contact him why not ^_^

    he has a diverse range of talent. I have tried to call the talent agency once so far and got a voice mail I will try again soon, I have a tight work schedule ( 2nd shift) and can't get the right timing to call them as he's likely on lunch.

    I would instead aim for modding community to hit your high rez textures. Either way I still play bg2 and think its gorgeous.... maybe that's just me

    of course he was involved would you not want to do the same in the circumstances, Pc's are generally players without ties, sometimes ones that recently no longer have them, or make them. That doesn't make him a weak leader by any stretch just predisposed with another obligation.

    I noticed some party formation images similar to that of the infinity engine games on the whiteboard in the thank you video. possible re imagining of an old system? 6 party system? discuss

    we also know they talked about the old party formation styles on the infinity engine, It is noticeable on the whiteboard in the background of the thank you video. Maybe it was talk of how to make formations new or just a re imagining of an old mechanic but we know it was discussed to some level ^_^. Edit: wrong engine my mistake

    I love almost all of these wishes, voice acting the most, albeit i hate PC voice acting. But all side characters and even "involved" npc's should be Mostly voiced dialogue skipping spots is fine with me like asking an npc about town when it's not necessary, i get it, save on time money and space. While the immersion is nice it's not entirely necessary. Believable rewards is the only part i guess that concerns me...I mean the innkeeper has an epic item by happenstance he's willing to just part with no matter how epic the chain was to likely "save his life"? unlikely so most rewards we'd be getting would be slop if they were believable, but I see where you were intending on going with this I think. and I totally agree side quests should be rewarded not make a person avoid them just because of bad loot and a waste of time from it. The camera will likely be fixed if the environment is proposed to be mostly 2d with 3d elements. where as it will likely be an isometric like design element, similar to many of their previous titles.

    I love the Industry for material such as this project, I love black isle and it's reborn/evolved form Obsidian, I want nothing more than for this project to bring back what games used to be. I went to school for game design because I loved these games so much that they drove me to learn how to make a quality product and to have to tools to sell them. I'm not taking up obsidian's reins. I simply see that funding may be short, I even understand why, but the likelihood of them outright adding in voice acting, let alone specific, on one persons whims and wishes is null to slim. It will take forum attention and possibly even a side project such as a kickstarter cause to raise enough awareness to make something happen. I saw an avenue and I'm pursuing it to the best of my competency. I'm asking myself what I can do, besides tell my friends and donate money, to make this a better experience for everyone is that so wrong alanschu?

    Are you stating that through you Obsidian could get some sort of advantage rather than contacting Jim on their own? If Obsidian posts a kickstarter or a strech goal with professional vocal talent to be ad endum to this project I would gladly put all funding that i made on kickstarter(and I mean all), towards this project. Even more than I have already pledged myself on top of that. I'm not sure why you insist on an undertone attack at my character or anything on my nature of being but I assure you There's no ego trip or self edification involved.

    Minsc > garion > gadflow > gelato in my personal opinion. gadflow being the antagonist in KOA: reckoning. He's a fellow ohioan as well so i have to boast

    Oh i'm not implying doing their work for them by any stretch but it's been said they are concerned with getting strong talent by issue of cost, I'm circumventing a problem based off of interest, simply put.

    He also replaced jeremy irons after he threw his voice out doing a song, "be prepared", for lion king. After the line "you won't get a sniff with out me" is all jim cummings' singing talent. He's done video games and movies galore with multiple different voice talent styles. While most of his personas may still be recognizable he , by my belief, has much more skill than many of the voice actors we see today. I'll avoid naming examples not to ruffle feathers.

    Who didn't like minsc I mean honestly? Not to mention his admirable fatherly qualities about what NOT to teach your hamster. With all this in question I'm seriously going to pursue contact with his Rep/Agent about the speculative cost, albeit unknown voicing quantity, on what one such a project might cost to procure one such talent for this title. He brings a seriously raw amount of ability to the table and I am willing to even start a separate kickstarter just to get this happening I would encourage all to keep their eyes posted here and show signs of interest by posting as well. On a side note if there is some one I could get in contact with over at the offices of obsidian on a level of involvement by having a character such as minsc, voiced by cummings, involved in the project I would love to find a way to do this as well. Please read my post OBS.
