Hi everyone, somebody has stolen my green K. Steal from a bandit. Morally reprehensible. -

It's not a matter of "how many people speak xyz language?". The question is "what markets might be interested in buying the game?". -

Me too. I pledged $318: I am convinced that I deserve an answer. I sincerely hope that Obsidian really does not want to set a new standard: Multi4. It sounds bad. -

The game will be released in 2014. In Italy we usually say something like "la speranza รจ l'ultima a morire", which means "hope die last". Let's wait... -

I can agree with you, but i and - i suppose - other people from Italy already contributed to the fundraising hoping that Obsidian decides to "give away" the localization to the Italians...and because i want to play that game (even in english), obviously! -

I hope that all my compatriots who are loudly wondering for an italian localization have already proceeded to make their pledge on kickstarter! -

I hope that Obsidian changes her mind, and give us an italian translation. But i wouldn't bet on it, as i wouldn't bet on reaching last big stretch goals (glad to be wrong). Guys, do you want to know the truth? Probably in Italy most players could play in english, but they are not interested in the project because of the lack of localization: French have the translation, so Germans and also Spaniards...but not us. Therefore many players here* simply don't want to support the game, because...the game doesn't support them. Personally, i pledged the maximum that i could, and i think it's the right thing to do. * in Italy -

They invented the Multi4 and want to register the copyright. However now it only remains to wait and hope that funds grow fast. -
I think that the real issue is not about how many people can't play in english, but how many people do not want to play in English.

Me too, but trust me: there are people that when they play would simply have fun, and not be worried about learning English.

I agree, and i would add that we're talking about a rpg game, wich means a lot of text; PE it's not a simracing or a puzzle game, which are also playable with a basic understanding of the language.

Well said, dlux. I understand that translate an entire game will cost a lot of money, and i can imagine that the italian market is not attractive (...really??? I'm not so sure!), so that's not a surprise for me. Despite this i'm deeply disappointed by the decision to exclude the italian language at $2.200.000. Deeply, deeply disappointed.
