The thing about grazing with status effects is that it allows to you quickly chain two debuffs to get a full-duration status effect on your second shot. A short duration Sickened can guarantee a long duration Prone. This may or may not be desirable behavior.

yeah yeah and most of them have a class-based branch. e.g. St. Ydwen's Redeemer can be bound to fighters, paladins, or barbarians. before binding, it's a fine greatsword with a 15% to destroy vessels. when you bind it, it gets an additional power. after you do a specific task (i think doing x damage to spirits) it gains an additional power, but this one is specific to the class of the binder. fighters get a chance to proc pillar of faith. paladins get a chance to proc divine mark. barbarians get a chance to proc despondent blows. after that you can upgrade it one more time. slight ruination to your dream: destruction effects only destroy an enemy if they are lower level than the attacker. otherwise they cause a bunch of raw damage.

There are magical weapons and armor in the game that seem like they might be unique, but don't have the gold color. For example: Engwithan Scepter Crucible Knight Officer Armor And possibly others. Granted, the armor is rather mundane, simply a Fine Plate with a unique name/appearance, so maybe that's on purpose.

A simple Google Search will show you that the original Kickstarter's expansion add-on cost $20: http://project-eternity.tumblr.com/post/33543990284/project-eternity-add-on-list So Kickstarter backers are getting a $5-10 discount (depending on whether the Steam buyer purchases just the first part or both).

[1.05] 2 problems with Stalker's Torc
Infinitron replied to a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I'm "suffering" from problem 2 as well. It's even mentioned on the game's wiki: http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Stalker's_Torc -
[1.05b] Binding Web: now with -5 Accuracy
Infinitron replied to a question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
Yeah, this makes the spell useless. It's got to be a bug. -
I guess this is "Project North Carolina". http://kotaku.com/how-kickstarter-saved-obsidian-1716537369

Doesn't matter. What I care about is the betrayal of trust and that it was considered OK by everyone concerned, even those who wanted the review published. Edit: and by "OK" I mean "at most worth a finger-wag." In retrospect, what I should've done is this: "Either that thread is retardoed and Sensuki gets a tag, or I'm pulling the plug. You have one hour." More fool me. Getting rid of the thread would have initiated a Streisand effect of massive proportions and you know it. The Codex can't do that, we cannot declare a topic of discussion out of bounds once it's out there. As for the tag, we'll see about that.

As I suspected, it was not DU: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/the-shill-brigade-pillars-of-eternity-propaganda-review.100012/page-26#post-3987288 Both DarkUnderlord and Vault Dweller waded into that thread to defend you. On the Codex, it doesn't get much better than that. EDIT: Ah, speak of the devil.
